Sochan has missed the last 11 games due to undergoing surgery for a fractured left thumb. On Wednesday, he said that he should be back within days, not months.
The Spurs travel to Sacramento on Sunday and then fly to Phoenix on Tuesday. Then they return home for a four-game homestand starting on Thursday against the Bulls.
In seven games, Sochan was averaging 29.3 minutes, 15.4 points, 7.7 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.0 steals.
It will be interesting to see how the starting lineup shakes out when he returns because Stephon Castle has been starting and playing very well.
