Is Elijah Moore a must-start if Cedric Tillman sits for Monday Night Football?

Cedric Tillman ($5,100) suffered a concussion in last week’s win over the Steelers and the receiver remains in concussion protocol as of Wednesday, putting him in serious jeopardy of missing Monday’s matchup with the Broncos. If Tillman is sidelined, Elijah Moore ($4,800) would become the Browns’ No. 2 receiver behind Jerry Jeudy ($5,900).

With Tillman only available for 53% of the snaps last week, Moore saw a target on 25% of his routes and he ran a route on 69% of his team’s drop backs. Overall, Moore only caught three of his five targets for 21 yards vs. Pittsburgh (5.1 FPTS).

Moore has flashed solid upside with Jameis Winston ($5,700) under center, with the former scoring at least 16 FPTS in two of his last four games. However, while Moore may see a bump in usage if Tillman sits, Monday presents a brutal matchup.

The Browns will be on the road in Denver and the Broncos are giving up the second-fewest yards per pass this season (5.8) and they are fourth-highest graded defense on PFF. On the DraftKings Sportsbook, the Browns carry an underwhelming 18.5-point implied team total.

Cleveland’s passing attack should struggle in this terrible road matchup and, even if Tillman is out, Moore is a shaky option in this spot.

On the DraftKings Sportsbook, the Browns are a 5.5-point underdog in Denver.
