It is a jam-packed night of NBA basketball with 14 games being played throughout the night. Only the Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks will be off for the night, with all 28 other teams squaring off.
Most notably, the New York Knicks will play the Dallas Mavericks as Luka Doncic continues to recover from his wrist injury. In addition, the Los Angeles Lakers will play the San Antonio Spurs, the Phoenix Suns will play the Brooklyn Nets, and the Oklahoma City Thunder will face the Golden State Warriors.

Nikola Vucevic Over 16.5 Points (-120)
The Chicago Bulls will face the Orlando Magic in one of the 7:00 PM EST tipoffs tonight. Orlando is a strong defensive team that has held opponents to the fewest points per game this season. The Magic enter with a 12-7 record on the season while the Bulls sit at 8-11.
While this will be a tough overall matchup for Chicago, look for Nikola Vucevic to have a strong game. The 34-year-old is off to an impressive start to the season, averaging 20.4 points, 9.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists on the season. Vucevic has recorded over 16.5 points in 16 of the 19 games this season.
Orlando plays with a traditional big man with Goga Bitadze and Moritz Wagner set to log the vast majority of the minutes. Bitadze has been really solid this season, but this is a matchup that Vucevic can take advantage of. As strong as Orlando’s defense has been, it has been much more impressive on the perimeter against opposing guards. This will be the second matchup between these two teams, with Vucevic recording 18 points in the first game. He has gone over 16.5 points in the past three games and will get his average of 14.2 shots he has been attempting this season. Look for Vucevic to continue his stretch of strong play and record over 16.5 points again tonight.
Guerschon Yabusele Over 9.5 Points (-105)
The Philadelphia 76ers will be facing off with the Houston Rockets tonight and continue to be without Joel Embiid and Paul George. While the Sixers have far bigger issues than their backup center, Andre Drummond has underwhelmed this season. The former All-Star and self-proclaimed “greatest rebounder of all time” has begun to see his minutes get cut, with Guerschon Yabusele being the beneficiary of the available opportunity. The Frenchman has started the past two games for the Sixers and has seen his minutes grow to 22.1 minutes per game on the season. Yabusele has played over 30 minutes four times this season and this number should be expected to grow moving forward.
The biggest benefit to having Yabusele on the floor is the Sixers’ ability to play five-out basketball. He is taking 3.9 three-point attempts per game and connecting on 41.3% of these attempts. Yabusele is averaging 9.1 points and 5.3 rebounds overall but has recorded over 9.5 points in seven of the 16 games this season, including two of the past three.
Expect Yabusele to continue seeing his minutes grow and for this to especially be the case against this Rockets team. Drummond is at his worst when forced to guard the perimeter and Houston is capable of exploiting this. Offensively, Yabusele is comfortable knocking down open three-point looks and is also showing some intriguing chemistry in the pick-and-roll with rookie Jared McCain. He has attempted at least three shots in every game, averaging 7.1 shot attempts per game, and has seen his offensive role grow in recent games. Look for this trend to continue tonight and for him to record over 9.5 points for the eighth time this season.
Kevin Durant Over 23.5 Points (-105)
The Phoenix Suns will be playing the second night of a back-to-back after taking down the Los Angeles Lakers last night. This marked the first game back for Kevin Durant after a seven-game absence due to a calf injury. Durant picked up right where he left off, dropping 23 points in just 30 minutes of play, as the Suns cruised to a 127-100 victory. This type of performance provided a reminder of how good the Suns can be when they are fully clicking.
As Phoenix now prepares to face off with the Brooklyn Nets, look for Durant to take another stride forward in his scoring output. The four-time scoring champion is averaging 27.1 points per game on the season and has recorded over 23.5 points in seven of the 10 games he has played in. Brooklyn also ranks 21st in opponent points allowed on the season.
The Suns were 8-1 at the time of Durant’s injury and then went 1-6 without the All-Star. He provides the stability the organization needs and will continue to be a key part of its production moving forward. Count on Durant to be in attack mode and have no trouble recording over 23.5 points for the eighth time this season.
Draymond Green Over 1.5 Made Three-Pointers (+140)
There are plenty of positive storylines surrounding the Golden State Warriors this season. The organization has leaned into a much more defensive-minded approach this season and currently sits in second place in the Western Conference. One area that has not seen enough praise has been the perimeter shooting of Draymond Green.
While he is primarily known for his defense, Green is attempting 3.5 three-point attempts per game this season, which is the most since the 2017-18 season. He is shooting 42.4% from beyond the arc and averaging 1.5 makes per game. Green has recorded over 1.5 made three-pointers in eight games already this season. This includes the first matchup with the Oklahoma City Thunder, whom they are set to play again tonight.
Green’s perimeter ability continues to grow into a larger part of the Warriors’ offense and must be accounted for on an every-night basis. Look for this level of perimeter effort to continue and for the opportunity to be there tonight. Getting +140 odds is great value, so count on the four-time NBA champion to continue proving he has more in the tank.
