Brian Robinson Jr. ($5,600)
Despite rookie signal caller Jayden Daniels getting the bulk of the credit for Washington’s immediate turnaround, tailback Brian Robinson Jr. has quietly been one of the most effective rushers in the league. The third-year pro is a bruising runner who requires multiple defenders to bring down. An improved offensive line has helped his bottom line, but his explosiveness as a bell cow helps wear out front sevens.
The club has the third-best EPA per rush, and Robinson Jr. is averaging an impressive 4.5 yards per carry. Even with losing pass-catching work to Austin Ekeler, Robinson Jr. routinely garners over 15 touches an outing. The Dallas defense is falling apart at the seams and will continuously struggle to generate stops. If he can find the end zone, his floor is one of the best in DFS, and he should be an easy addition to your lineup.
DeAndre Hopkins ($5,400)
Kansas City is desperate to stay atop the AFC West, and it starts with reinvigorating the passing game. Despite the incredible start to the campaign, the aerial attack never seemed to find its footing. The lack of a talented outside threat was a significant detriment, which is why the organization went out to get DeAndre Hopkins.
Despite a quiet evening last weekend in Buffalo, he still finished second on the team in receiving yards. Even at age 32, he still has a tremendous pair of hands and is dominant at high-pointing the rock. Hopkins is a top option with the best slinger in the world looking his way — at some point, that will pay massive dividends.
Tommy DeVito ($4,000)
Ok, hear me out. This is unreal value. No, stop laughing.
Tommy DeVito has the same assigned salary as Jack Plummer, Joe Milton III, Michael Pratt and Hendon Hooker — just to name a few. While those names will be warming the bench, DeVito will be starting Sunday alongside an offense that has shown flurries of competence at different points this season.
It couldn’t be a more ideal matchup for the 26-year-old to step into against a Tampa Bay defense that allows the most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. That same group is 29th in defensive EPA and has been particularly poor on the road.
DeVito is almost certainly not the answer to New York’s quarterback conundrum, but he’s talented enough to have the occasional solid performance. At this cheap price, he deserves plenty of consideration.
