The Dolphins’ offense has had much different looks this season because of Tua Tagovailoa’s injury, but they are playing better at the moment.
The New England defense had a decent start to the season but has really worn down in recent weeks. It’s dropped all the way to 28th in the league in defensive EPA/play, struggling against the run and the pass. Tony Pollard, Breece Hall and Kyren Williams have all gashed the Patriots on the ground in recent weeks. It could be a long day for the Patriots trying to slow down De’Von Achane and the Dolphins’ offense.
I am attacking the Achane prop market with his rushing + receiving yards over. He has been able to produce as a runner and a receiver in recent weeks so this is the safer bet than picking just rushing or receiving. Achane has two games with 50+ receiving yards and two games with 70+ rushing yards in the four games since Tagovailoa returned from injury. This Patriots defense ranks 23rd in defensive rush EPA, so Achane should be able to earn rushing yards easily.
