Kyrie Irving is set to return following a one-game absence with a shoulder injury. He missed Thursday night’s contest against the Jazz but will be back in the lineup on Saturday vs. the Spurs.
The eight-time All-Star has maintained his excellent play and extreme efficiency this season. He’s averaging 25.2 points, 4.9 assists and 4.6 rebounds on 54.5 percent from the field and 54.1 percent from three.
The Mavericks could have used his services last night as they lost 115-113 to the Jazz on a game-winning dunk from John Collins. Dallas is now 5-7 on the season and on a four-game losing streak.
Irving has recovered quickly and will try to help get the Mavericks back on track on Saturday against the Spurs at home.
