Both the Pistons and Suns find themselves in less-than-ideal situations on Wednesday. That alone is why there are a pair of NBA bets from these games that rank among the best options today.
Pistons vs. Bucks notes
Miami took the internet by storm on Tuesday, but not for a good reason. Erik Spoelstra and company had an epic meltdown vs. Detroit in the opening round of the NBA Cup, resulting in a Pistons win.
But the real issue is the Pistons are playing on the second leg of a back-to-back. (Not to mention it being an overtime game.) That puts a system in play that makes the game total’s under one of the best NBA bets from today’s slate.
Before highlighting the system, also note:
- The under is 3-1 when Milwaukee is playing as a home favorite this season.
- The under is 4-0 when Detroit is playing as a road underdog this season.
- 62% of the game-total handle for Pistons vs. Bucks has gone toward the under on just 26% of the bets.
Suns vs. Kings notes
The Suns aren’t coming off an OT battle like Detroit, but they are also on the second leg of a back-to-back. So, that also makes the under in this game one of the best bets to consider from today’s NBA slate because of a system that’s in play.
Also note:
- The under is 3-1 when Sacramento is playing as a home favorite this season.
- Phoenix has only been a road underdog twice this season. The under is 1-1 in those games.
System
The under is 22-8 (73.33%) when underdogs are playing on the second leg of a back-to-back this season. When those dogs are playing on the road, the under is 13-3 (81.25%).
Both data sets apply to DET-MIL and PHO-SAC. However, there is a larger set of information supporting the DET-MIL play. If picking between these two, the under in Pistons vs. Bucks does have the edge as the best NBA bet of these two plays today.
