Now, Curry is back in the lineup and coming off a 24-point, six-assist performance in Monday’s win over the Washington Wizards. He’ll look to follow it up in a big spot against the Boston Celtics on Wednesday night.

In two contests against the Celtics last season, Curry averaged just 18.5 PPG, 2.0 REB, 4.5 AST, and 3.0 3PM. It’s uncharacteristic production for the superstar guard, but the Celtics defense has been among the NBA’s elite in recent years.
This season, Curry’s overall averages read similarly to his stats against Boston from last year. He averages 19.8 PPG, 4.8 REB, and 6.5 AST through his first four games, though he’s played just 25.8 minutes per contest. Bettors are faced with a decision — is Curry regressing, or simply not playing enough in blowouts to stuff the stat sheet?
The Celtics present a difficult matchup with guards Derrick White and Jrue Holiday patrolling the perimeter, though Jaylen Brown will miss Wednesday’s contest. However, the over on Steph’s 23.5 points line feels like a good bet at -115 since he should be the focal point of the Warriors’ offense. He can, of course, get hot in a hurry. Really, 23.5 points feels fairly low for the 10-time All-Star.
