Week 10 of the NFL season has arrived! Injuries have thrown a wrench into multiple receiving corps around the league, so it’s time to take a deep dive into the position.
Let’s break down my Week 10 start ’em, sit ’em fantasy football wide receiver picks.
Start ‘Em: DeAndre Hopkins (Chiefs) vs. Broncos
When Hopkins landed in Kansas City, I was among the multitude of people who expected him to disappoint at this stage in his career.
It looks like we were wrong.
The former superstar receiver looked like vintage D-Hop against the Bucs on Monday, racking up eight receptions for 86 yards and two touchdowns en route to a 28.6 point performance. As Xavier Worthy struggles with growing pains, the No. 1 receiver spot is there for the taking, and it looks like Hopkins is primed to claim it. Fire up the veteran as a strong WR2 against Denver.
Sit ‘Em: Marvin Harrison Jr. (Cardinals) vs. Jets
Speaking of growing pains, it’s been a frustrating few weeks for the first receiver off the board in the 2024 NFL Draft.
The elite upside is apparent, as demonstrated in his Week 8 outing against the Dolphins. However, consistency has been an issue. The Ohio State product has failed to score six fantasy points in four of his last five games, and now has to deal with Sauce Gardner and the Jets.
New York allows the fewest fantasy points to receivers per game. It’s best to leave Harrison Jr. on your bench until he re-establishes a rapport with Kyler Murray.

Start ‘Em: Josh Downs (Colts) vs. Bills
In the Colts’ Week 9 defeat to Minnesota, Downs proved he’s a capable WR2 even when he doesn’t find the end zone.
The speedster hauled in six of nine targets for 60 yards. It wasn’t a fantastic performance like we’ve seen from him consistently over the last few weeks, but 12 PPR points will get the job done. With Joe Flacco under center, Downs’ fantasy ceiling checks in at WR1 level on a game-to-game basis.
The second-year receiver draws a tough matchup against Buffalo this weekend, but he should remain heavily featured once again.

Sit ‘Em: DJ Moore (Bears) vs. Patriots
Outside of a Week 5 explosion, it’s been a frustrating year for Chicago’s top wideout. Caleb Williams is my sit of the week at quarterback, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that his No. 1 receiver also earns that title.
Moore has failed to score eight fantasy points in three straight outings, and his lack of involvement has been particularly concerning. He’ll see a lot of lockdown corner Christian Gonzalez in this contest, so it’s best the leave DJ on your bench until he proves his value.
Start ‘Em: Courtland Sutton (Broncos) at Chiefs
After a bizarre no-show in Week 7, Bo Nix seems to have gotten the memo: get the ball to your best playmaker.
Sutton has since been targeted 21 times in Denver’s last two games, hauling in 15 of those balls for 222 yards. While he’s found the end zone just twice this season, it doesn’t matter if he continues to see that type of volume. The Chiefs are a tough matchup for the veteran receiver, but game script could actually work in his favor, as the Broncos will likely be down early and forced to throw the ball.
I expect Sutton to be heavily featured once again.
Those are my start ’em, sit ’em Week 10 fantasy football wide receiver picks! Stay tuned for more fantasy advice later this week.
