The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have a ton of position players on their injury report heading into a Monday Night Football matchup in Kansas City against the Chiefs. The Bucs’ best RB this season has been Bucky Irving, and he is one of five questionable players for Tampa Bay. However, Greg Auman from Fox Sports has reported that he is expected to play tonight.
Irving, a fourth-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, has had an impressive rookie campaign. He has totaled 559 yards, three touchdowns, and 20 catches. In last week’s game against the Atlanta Falcons, Irving out-touched Rachaad White 16-11.

Irving has scored a touchdown in two of the previous three games and three of the past five. He has yet to catch a touchdown this season, but because of his involvement in the passing game, it seems likely one will come in the future.
Even though Irving still shares the workload in the backfield with White, the Bucs must play a lot against the Chiefs if they are to put together an upset.
Bucky Irving Over 15.5 receiving yards (-115)
Irving played a massive role in the passing game last week without Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. He caught all seven of his targets for 40 yards. Iriving was second on the team in receptions behind Cade Otton, who had nine catches.
This isn’t a one-week thing, either. Irving has been increasingly more involved in the passing game each week. He has had over 15.5 receiving yards in the last three games. With Sterling Shepard (hamstring) and Jalen McMillan (hamstring) both questionable, if either of them doesn’t play, it opens up more opportunities for Irving in the passing game.
