2024 NFL Fantasy Football Rankings — Start, Sit RB Week 9

Week 8 looked perfectly set up for Breece Hall against the Patriots, but the Jets continued to struggle and Hall was a letdown. Instead, it was James Cook, Josh Jacobs, De’Von Achane and Joe Mixon led the way with over 25 fantasy points. Cook was the only running bcak with over 30 fantasy points in Week 8, and he will definitely climb up my Week 9 rankings as the Bills come home to face Achane and the Dolphins, who looked much improved with their QB back this week.

In Week 9, the 49ers and the Steelers are on their bye week, but the other 30 teams are all in action. After the bye, it looks like Christian McCaffrey will be able to make his long-awated season debut, so this may be our last rakings of the season that are without CMC in the mix.

Looking ahead at all the NFL Week 9 matchups, here are my top 25 to start:
