Stroud had a rough Week 7 vs. the Packers, throwing for a season-low 86 yards and zero touchdowns. This week should be a much different story against Gus Bradley’s Colts defense.
C.J. Stroud Over 238.5 Pass Yards (-110)
Last season, Stroud shredded this Indy defense, throwing for 384/2 and 264/2 in his two starts. In Week 1 this season, the Ohio State product went for 234 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Now, he will again not have his star WR Nico Collins this week, as he continues to recover from his hamstring injury, but he still has very capable pass catchers in the form of Stefon Diggs, Tank Dell and Dalton Schultz.
The Colts do not generate a ton of pressure, ranking 21st in the NFL in sacks, meaning Stroud will have ample time to throw this week. Indy also does not turn other teams over too often, ranking 19th in the league in interceptions. Elite quarterbacks usually bounce back in a big way after putting up an awful performance like Stroud did last week. With the Texans coming back home and sitting as a five-point favorites, Stroud should be able to get whatever he wants in this spot.
