NASCAR is back and DraftKings is offering a new way to play fantasy NASCAR. The game is simple. Build a “Pick Set” (2+ drivers) and decide if they will outperform their stat projections. Here is some advice to help build your DraftKings Pick6 Pick Sets for the NASCAR Cup Series Straight Talk Wireless 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
Kyle Larson: Fastest Laps (34.5)

Yung Money could win this race in a jalopy. Homestead is a unique track. Speed is found inches from the wall. The closer a driver is willing to go, the faster they go. That’s a no-go for most. Not Larson. He goes where others don’t go. The wall has bit him before and he’s bit back. Larson finished 34th at Homestead last season. He won in 2022. In both races, he led the most laps.
Homestead doesn’t treat all dirt-racing experts equally. Former Chili Bowl winners and dirt scene vagabonds don’t share the same skill as Kyle Larson or Tyler Reddick. Dirt racing is about adapting to an ever changing track. Finding grooves and making moves. Homestead has one groove. It’s similar to the cushion at a dirt track. Christopher Bell perfectly illustrates this unique problem. He’s a champion dirt racer. A bona-fide superstar in a sprint car. But he doesn’t care for Homestead. He’s not a rim-rider. Running the wall doesn’t appeal to him. He doesn’t live on the cushion in dirt. Larson doesn’t either but when he needs to run the high line, nobody does it better.
Tyler Reddick: Fastest Laps (27.5)

The front row for Sunday’s Straight Talk Wireless 400 at Homestead isn’t surprising. Reddick won the pole and Kyle Larson’s Hendrick Motorsports Chevy will line up beside the 23XI No. 45 Toyota. Barring a bad day on pit road, Reddick and Larson should stay out in clear air all day and pile up the fast laps. There are 80 laps in stage 1. It’s within reason that both drivers exceed their projections before the first stage break. If not, they have 267 laps to get the job done. The only fear is the usual Homestead fear. Fast laps are found on the wall. Reddick and Larson will rip that groove. That groove — the wall — rips tires. Too much speed can be a problem. That’s Homestead, but there is safety in this NASCAR Pick6 pick. Reddick and Larson can wreck and the pick still works. They just have to wreck late after accruing their fast laps.

Create a Pick Set
Create a Pick Set by choosing at least two players from the same sport and Pick Group (a set of picks available from a group of set competitions). For each player, simply select if you think they’ll have more or less than their listed stat projection. In each Pick Set, you can not pick the same player twice and you must pick players from at least two different teams.
Enter an Amount
Once you finalize your Pick Set, choose your entry fee amount. Your entries will be automatically distributed into available contests, subject to your confirmation.
Sweat Your Picks
When the games go live, use the My Picks tab to follow your picks in real time to track how your players are performing against their projections and how they stack up against other users.
Compete for Prizes
Make enough correct picks and win a share of the contests’ guaranteed prizes. Any prizes won will be credited to your DraftKings account after contests are finalized.
