UPDATE 2:02 p.m. EST: According to the broadcast, Tony Pollard has cleared concussion protocol and has returned to the game for the Titans.
Early in the second quarter of his Week 7 game against the Buffalo Bills, Tennessee Titans running back Tony Pollard took a hard hit on a play in enemy territory. He looked to be shaken up enough that trainers needed to help him on the field.
Speculations abound right now with all the videos of the hard hit, seeing as it looked like Pollard’s head took the brunt of the blow.
Tennessee would go on to score a touchdown on that drive on a Mason Rudolph pass to Nick Westbrook-Ikhine. Pollard remained on the sideline for the rest of that drive.
As of right now, his status is unclear. We’ll provide more updates as they roll in from the team.
