Is Brian Robinson Jr. playing Sunday vs. the Panthers?

Robinson Jr. ($6,400; knee) missed Week 6, but is trending in the right direction for Week 7. The back was a limited participant in practice Wednesday and HC Kliff Kingsbury insinuated to the media that Robinson Jr. will be back this Sunday. When asked about the running back, Kingsbury said “Obviously a tremendous player. It will be a big lift”.

If Robinson is able to suit up without any serious limitations, he should slide right back into his role as the Commanders’ top rusher. This season, Robinson Jr. is averaging 14.6 carries per game – which is 67.6% of Washington’s running back carries – while logging 57.5% of the snaps. In the redzone, the 25-year-old has seen 15 carries.

Robinson Jr. ranks 11th among running backs in FPTS per snap (0.45), and he is in a terrific spot this Sunday vs. the Panthers, who are the worst graded defense on PFF. On DraftKings Sportsbook, Washington is a -130 favorite to exceed 29.5 points and they are eight-point home favorites. The Commanders should rely on their run game this situation and Robinson Jr. will be a great target for both season-long and DFS formats if he suits up.

For the five occasions he has competed as a home favorite over the last two seasons, Robinson Jr. is amassing 14.7 FPTS per game.
