Invincible season three has been announced, but that may not be the best bit of news surrounding the show.
After season two had a mid-season pause, Invincible season 3 will not feature a break in the action.
As for when the new season of the hit Amazon show will begin, the show’s Twitter account shared a teaser trailer with the reveal that Invincible season three will begin on February 6, 2025.
Timing Notes
It is yet to be revealed how many episodes of Invincible will drop on February 6, 2025.
In season two, only one episode was released with the season-opening drop. However, season one of Invincible featured a three-episode season-opening drop.
Like the upcoming third season, the show’s first season did not feature a mid-season pause. So, season three’s initial drop could be similar to Invincible’s opening drop. (It’s a similar formula that Amazon has used for The Boys and The Legend of Vox Machina.)
Cast Notes
Steven Yeun’s Mark Grayson (a.k.a. Invincible) and Walton Goggins’ Cecil Stedman are the only two characters who appear in the show’s teaser. Of course, there are plenty of other characters/actors who will return for season three.
But the big casting news we’re waiting on is that of Conquest. He is the individual who was alluded to in both the second season and the Invincible season three trailer as being an even greater problem than Anissa, who was far too much for Mark to handle.
