In under five weeks, just 32 days, former Undisputed Heavyweight Champion “Iron” Mike Tyson will return to professional boxing to face “The Problem Child” Jake Paul. This fight was initially scheduled for July 20, but Tyson had to withdraw due to an ulcer. This spectacle will occur from the Dallas Cowboys home at AT&T Stadium on Friday, November 15. Paul vs. Tyson will be airing live on Netflix and not pay-per-view.

Jake Paul is the favorite to win this fight at -275, while Tyson is the underdog at +210 on DraftKings Sportsbook. Paul has three straight knockouts during his previous three contests in the past 10 months. Paul is +110 to knock out Tyson, while “Iron Mike” is +340 to get the finish. Will the 31-year age gap between the fighters become a factor in this contest?
This is Mike Tyson’s first professional fight since he lost to Kevin McBride in 2005. Tyson ended his professional boxing career with two straight losses. The last time “Iron Mike” won a fight was in 2003 when he knocked out Clifford Etienne in the first round. Tyson had two exhibition fights since his last pro bout, one against Corey Sanders in 2006 and more recently vs. Roy Jones Jr. in 2020.
Paul is 10-1 as a professional boxer, with seven knockouts in his career. This is his 12th fight since his debut in January 2020. Most recently, Paul knocked out Mike Perry, BKFC’s “king of violence” champion and former UFC fighter. Before Paul got into the sport, he built his fame as a social media megastar but has been tested by five former UFC fighters and two UFC champions.
Paul vs. Tyson is Netflix’s first live combat sports event that they are airing. Starting in January 2025, Netflix will be the home for WWE’s flagship show, “Monday Night Raw”. This fight will be one of the most-seen fights in history, with over 250 million Netflix subscribers.
