Now is the time to inquire about trading for Kupp. The star wideout has missed the last three games with a high ankle sprain, but Kupp is expected to return for Week 7 following the Rams’ bye, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Meanwhile, Puka Nacua (knee) remains on IR and is expected to remain sidelined until at least late October.

Kupp and Nacua have barely shared the field this season. As a result, Kupp has seen incredible usage when available, leading the Rams with an eyepopping 36% target share, which ranks second only to Malik Nabers this season. Additionally, Kupp has seen four targets greater than 20 yards and three redzone targets on his 70 routes this season.

Kupp ranks fifth among receivers in FPTS per snap (0.41). He should return to being a fantasy superstar when he returns in Week 7, especially when you consider that Kupp will be facing a soft Raiders defense that week. The Raiders are the second-worst-graded defense on PFF this season.

Kupp’s usage is going to see a hit when Nacua returns. Nacua is dealing with a serious PCL injury and there is a strong chance that he is limited to start even when he does return.

All in all, Kupp owners may be frustrated he hasn’t played since Week 2 and could be open to moving Kupp for a discounted price. If you have depth and can afford not having Kupp available until Week 7, seeking a trade for the wideout is a sharp strategy that could pay off in the long run.
