Update: Garland is listed as questionable for this game. Mitchell is not on the report, so he’s good to go. The lines haven’t moved, so we’re still rolling with the Raptors as underdogs and the under on the total.
Two .500 teams will square off Sunday evening when the Toronto Raptors (8-8) meet the Cleveland Cavaliers (8-8). The Raptors have won their last two contests while the Cavaliers have dropped two in a row and are coming off a loss Saturday to the Lakers.
Toronto is healthy on the injury front. Darius Garland suffered a neck injury in Saturday’s game, so his status is up in the air. We’ll see if Donovan Mitchell is set to play both games of a back-to-back set after returning from a hamstring injury Saturday.
The Cavaliers are 1.5-point favorites at DraftKings Sportsbook, with the total coming in at 220.5. Cleveland is -118 on the moneyline while Toronto is -102.

The Cavaliers are 3-5 at home and have lost two in a row, while the Raptors have found a bit of form. Toronto should be able to take advantage of some of Cleveland’s fatigue, especially if both Garland and Mitchell are sidelined. The Raptors won three of the four meetings between these teams a season ago and are a strong bet to cover here. They are 5-5 ATS this season as the underdog.
Over/Under: Under 220.5
The Raptors are 18th in points per game, while the Cavaliers are 22nd. Cleveland might be down one or both of its starting guards, further backing the under. In the four games a season ago, three went under this line. Even though Cleveland is surprisingly 10-6 to the over to start this season, take the under Sunday.
