Aaron Jones heads to Lambeau Field this Sunday for the first time since leaving the Packers in free agency. The veteran has always been an extremely effective player: He ranks fourth all-time in YPC among running backs. Jones hasn’t slowed down with the Vikings. Through the first three weeks of the season, the back has rushed for 228 yards and a touchdown on 42 carries, and he has caught 12 of his 14 targets for 97 yards and a touchdown.

Overall, Jones ranks fifth in yards per carry (5.4) among running backs. Usage wise, he is averaging 14 carries per game, while logging 58.7% of the snaps. As a receiver, Jones has seen a tremendous workload, running a route on 52% of his team’s dropbacks and handling a 19.4% target share, which ranks second in the NFL among running backs and ranks second for Minnesota only trailing Justin Jefferson.

Jones has already seen nine redzone touches in only three games this season and the Packers have struggled defensively, as the 10th worst graded unit on PFF. Additionally, Green Bay has yielded the 10th most yards per rush (4.7) and they have given up three touchdowns to running backs.
