The Bengals need a win in the worst way, entering Monday’s Week 3 contest 0-2. Looking at some of the NFL picks for today’s game, DraftKings Sportsbook bettors think Cincinnati will get on track vs. the Commanders.
But do bettors think the Bengals will cover?
Below are some of the DraftKings Sportsbook splits for CIN-WAS, along with other info, for those who’ve held off on casting NFL picks today for the 8:15 p.m. ET game.

Moneyline
There isn’t much of an edge or story to tell here.
The Bengals are -355 favorites, understandably. Both 90% of the handle and bets have gone in their direction.
Spread
This is where things get interesting.
After opening as 6.5-point dogs, the Commanders now have a spread of +7.5 vs. Cincinnati. Now, the Bengals have been the popular play, receiving 71% of the spread bets. However, those bets have only made up 68% of the spread handle.
It’s a small numerical difference, but seeing Washington get 32% of the spread handle on 29% of the spread bets is something to consider. (As is the spread trend highlighted later in this article.)
Total
This number has fluctuated a bit. Opening at 47.5, the CIN-WAS total went up to 48.5 before coming down to 46.5, where it has stayed.
Right now, the popular play by percentage of bets is the under at 64%. But, those bets have only accounted for 40% of the handle. That means 60% of the game total handle is on the over, off of just 36% of the bets.

DraftKings Sportsbook bettors seem keen on watching Ja’Marr Chase vs. Washington. The Cincinnati wide receiver is the most bet on name in the following categories:
- First TD Scorer (+600)
- Anytime TD Scorer (+100)
- 2+ TD Scorer (+650)
Outside of the primary touchdown player props, Joe Burrow has the most popular player. With -145 odds, “Joe Burrow Passing Touchdowns 2+” is the most bet on pick NFL pick for today’s game vs. the Commanders.
System to note
A standout betting system over the last few seasons has been taking the under on the game total when an AFC favorite is facing an NFC team. This system is off to a 7-5 start after going 4-3 on Sunday.
Although it flies in the face of the betting splits highlighted above, this game is a fit for this AFC fav vs. NFC system.
Trends to note
Fellow DK Network analyst Julian Edlow highlighted an impressive trend on Twitter ahead of Monday’s two-game slate: Underdogs of 6+ points are now 11-1 ATS and 7-5 SU this season. A major trend that’s going in Washington’s favor.
