The Saints may have been the most bet on team on DraftKings Sportsbook to win the Super Bowl following their Week 2 win, but they haven’t seen the largest shift in odds within the market.
That honor, instead, belongs to the Cardinals. Going into Week 2, Arizona was +10000 to win it all. Following a 41-10 vs. the Rams, the Cardinals now sit at +6000.
As for the Saints, they’ve seen a similar shift in odds — and their odds were shorter than the Cardinals to begin with. After entering Week 2 as +6500 to win the Super Bowl, the Saints have dipped down to +3500.
As for teams moving in the wrong direction, the Rams have had the biggest shift. They were +3500 before losing to Arizona. Now, L.A.’s NFC team is +6500 to win it all this season.
Conference Winners
A lot of action also went the Saints way in the NFC Conference winner department after they put up 40-plus points in consecutive games. That resulted in New Orleans seeing the biggest change in the Conference Winner market, halving their odds from +3000 to +1500.
The Jaguars have had the biggest shift in the opposite direction. Now 0-2, Jacksonville went from +2200 to win the AFC to +3000.
Division Winners
The Saints have been the recurring character in this article, but they don’t show up among the top five teams on either end of the spectrum when it comes to the Division Winner market.
After upsetting the Ravens, the Raiders went from +2200 to win the AFC West to +1300 — despite being 1-1 while the Chiefs are 2-0.
The Cardinals do pop up again in this market. They’re now +900 to win the NFC West, when they were +1500 before knocking off the Rams.
After Caleb Williams and company couldn’t take advantage of the defense’s strong showing vs. the Texans, the Bears went from +370 to win the NFC North to +800.
