The 2026-27 NFL season is almost halfway through. One of DraftKings’ more unique features this season is Pick6 Fantasy Football!

Here are my top Pick6 plays for the Week 9 Sunday slate.

DraftKings Pick6 Picks: Best NFL Plays for Sunday in Week 9

Puka Nacua More Than 0.5 Rushing + Receiving Touchdowns

Puka Nacua is fourth in the league in receptions and 12th in receiving yards this season, despite only playing in six games so far. Davante Adams has been Matthew Stafford’s top red-zone target over the past couple of seasons, but he is missing time with an injury. Nacua has scored a touchdown in each of the two games since Adams got hurt. He is now getting more targets down by the goal line with Adams on the sideline. Nacua has scored a touchdown in three of his past four games now and should keep it going against the Commanders.

Washington ranks 29th in the NFL in opponent passing touchdown percentage. Its opponents have scored 71.4% of their touchdowns through the air this season. Washington ranks 21st in defensive EPA/dropback and 23rd in defensive dropback success rate. Matthew Stafford and the Rams’ offense should dominate in this matchup, and Nacua should be the main weapon that Stafford utilizes. He should find the end zone for the third straight game.

Kirk Cousins More Than 1.5 Passing Touchdowns

Kirk Cousins has turned back the clock this season. After it looked like he was resigned to a backup role for the rest of his NFL career, he has found life again in Las Vegas. Klint Kubiak has proven why he is one of the best offensive minds in football by resurrecting Cousins’ career. Through eight weeks, Cousins ranks third in the NFL in passing yards and second in passing touchdowns. He has thrown for multiple passing touchdowns in seven of eight games so far this season. Cousins should keep that streak going against the 49ers.

The 49ers rank dead last in the NFL in opponent passing touchdown percentage. They have given up 76.9% of their touchdowns through the air this season. Meanwhile, Las Vegas ranks third in the NFL in passing touchdown percentage, throwing for 79.1% of its team touchdowns this season. Las Vegas is severely lacking a run game, and Kubiak is trusting his veteran quarterback on all of the important goal-line snaps. Cousins should throw for at least two touchdowns once again in this game.

Adonai Mitchell Longest Reception More Than 19.5 Yards

AD Mitchell is having an excellent season for the Jets. He missed a stretch of time through injury, but in the four games he has played in full, he is averaging 88.3 receiving yards per game. He has been a great deep threat for Geno Smith, as well as being a steady receiver on key passing downs. This week, the Jets will be without Garrett Wilson, meaning an even bigger target share should be going to Mitchell. The Jets will also need to be aggressive to keep up with a Chiefs offense that should consistently put points on the board.

There should be at least one deep ball to Mitchell in this game. In two of the three games he has played in full this season, Mitchell has a catch of 40 yards or longer. For this play, Mitchell just needs a catch of 20 yards or more. The Chiefs are giving up 2.9 20+-yard catches per game this season. Meanwhile, the Jets are averaging three 20+-yard pass plays per game this season. If the Jets connect on three shots downfield in this game, at least one of them should go to AD Mitchell.
