Bengals vs. Falcons NFL Player Prop Bets for Week 9

As we cross the halfway point of the NFL season, the intensity is only rising. The Bengals and Falcons are locked in tight divisional races and will travel to Madrid on Sunday for an important early-morning showdown. With the stakes high, the stars will be out, and that means an enticing player prop market.

Cincinnati is a three-point favorite on DraftKings Sportsbook. Atlanta is +145 to pull off the upset, with the total set at 52.5 points.

Let’s dive into the top player prop bets for Sunday’s clash between the Falcons and the Bengals.

Bengals vs. Falcons NFL Player Prop Bets

Bijan Robinson 110+ Rushing Yards (+136)

The Atlanta Falcons need to get back on track. After running the ball for 100+ yards as a team in the first five games of the season, they’ve been under the mark for three straight contests, culminating in an embarrassing 16-0 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a torrential downpour. Quarterback Michael Penix Jr. was unfathomably bad, completing eight of 24 passes for 125 yards and throwing four interceptions. With Atlanta’s QB practically useless, Tampa Bay’s already-elite run defense locked in on Bijan Robinson, holding him to 76 yards on 19 carries. It speaks to Bijan’s talent that holding him to 76 yards is considered a win.

Two things are working in Robinson’s favor this week. One, the Falcons won’t be playing in a swamp this time, and should be able to offer some kind of threat through the air. Second, Cincinnati’s run defense has been awful; the Bengals rank T-29th in the NFL with 4.8 opponent yards per carry. Whether they win or lose, handing the ball to Bijan is Atlanta’s best option; he should find enough chunk gains on Sunday to get back over the century mark.

Joe Burrow Under 0.5 Interceptions (-108)

Joe Burrow and the Bengals have to feel on top of the world after last week. Needing overtime to beat the Titans was a bit concerning, but that sort of back-and-forth win to move to 5-2 will galvanize a team. If Burrow had kept it together, they could have handled business tidily; he threw three picks in that win, each one breathing life into a Titans team short on belief.

This is a great opportunity for the hyper-efficient Burrow to clean it up. Despite facing 289 pass attempts — the second-most in the league — the Falcons have reeled in only three interceptions this year, the sixth-lowest total in the league. The NFL’s leader in completion percentage yet again, Burrow can move the ball with ease against a team struggling to defend the pass and won’t have to take big risks like he did last week. This should be a clean, turnover-free week for Burrow.
