Check out my best bet below for today’s boxing fight between Jaime Munguia and Nikita Zon.
Munguia vs. Zon Over 7.5 Rounds (-115)
At just 30 years old, this is Munguia’s 49th professional boxing fight, which is unbelievable. He has 35 career knockouts and is coming off two consecutive decision wins for the first time since 2019. Munguia’s previous victory came in May against Armando Resendiz. Zon has won eight straight fights since having a draw against Odiljon Aslonov in 2022. He has game-changing power, as his last six victories have come by knockout.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Munguia is a massive -1800 favorite with Zon as a +850 underdog. The fight has an over/under of 7.5 rounds, with both at -115. Munguia is also -330 to win by KO/TKO/DQ and +300 by decision.
Although Munguia has 35 career knockouts, his last two wins and three of his previous five victories have come by decision. Like Canelo, Munguia has lacked the explosiveness and aggressiveness needed to finish opponents lately. Six of Munguia’s previous seven fights have gone over 7.5 rounds. Zon has won his last six fights in the first six rounds but likely will struggle early against his toughest opponent to date.
