Week 8 TE Rankings

Opp Rank = opponent ranking in DK fantasy points allowed to the position (1st = toughest, 32nd = most generous), blending 2025 full-season data with limited 2026 results.
Projected points blend 2025 per-game DK fantasy averages with 2026 weekly performance, adjusted for opponent matchup, game environment, snap share and expected game script.

Injuries to Monitor
- Brock Bowers † (Calf): Limited Wednesday, then a full participant Thursday. Kirk Cousins remains the Las Vegas starter, Klint Kubiak said Monday, per Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.
- Dallas Goedert † (Knee): Practiced in full Wednesday. Tanner McKee is the starting quarterback with Jalen Hurts out for the season.
- Brenton Strange † (Eye): Practiced in full Wednesday. Jacksonville is coming off its Week 7 bye.
- Travis Kelce † (Ankle): Practiced in full Wednesday, then was limited Thursday. He was also limited in practice last week and played in Week 7 without a designation.
- Dalton Kincaid † (Chest): Limited Wednesday and Thursday. Buffalo is coming off its Week 7 bye, and the limited sessions all week drop him a few spots below his projection.
- Tyler Warren † (Groin): Limited Wednesday and Thursday after being inactive the past two games. Keenan Allen and Josh Downs have absorbed the targets in his absence, which is why he ranks below his projection.
- Darnell Washington † (Rest): Practiced in full Thursday after a rest day.
- Greg Dulcich † (Ankle): Remained limited Thursday after posting 13.6 DK points in Week 7.
DraftKings DFS Value Plays
T.J. Hockenson ($4,600) — Vikings @ Lions
Game environment: Vikings +3, O/U 46.5 (21.5 team total)
Last week: 13.5 DK points vs. IND
2025 PPG: 7.5 DK fantasy points (15 games)
Projected DraftKings points: 11.4
Hockenson gets the most generous tight end matchup on the board. Detroit has allowed 29.9 DK points per game to tight ends this season, more than double the league average of 14.1. He has played 64% of the snaps with 32 targets in six games, and Josh Oliver’s season-ending biceps injury thins the Minnesota tight end room behind him. He ranks fourth at the position for $500 less than Sam LaPorta on the other side of the same game.
Hunter Henry ($4,300) — Patriots @ Dolphins
Game environment: Patriots -7, O/U 43.5 (24.5 team total)
Last week: 14.1 DK points @ CHI
2025 PPG: 10.5 DK fantasy points (17 games)
Projected DraftKings points: 10.5
Henry’s role has grown into a steady weekly floor. He has caught 14 of 16 targets for 163 yards and two touchdowns over his last three games while playing 74% of the snaps. Miami ranks 30th against tight ends and has allowed 21.3 DK points per game to the position this season. New England is a 7-point road favorite with a 24.5-point team total, and Henry’s salary sits below several tight ends projected under him.
Brenton Strange ($4,000) — Jaguars vs. Colts
Game environment: Jaguars -10, O/U 46.5 (28.5 team total)
Last week: Bye
2025 PPG: 9.8 DK fantasy points (12 games)
Projected DraftKings points: 10.7
Strange’s target share has climbed with 23 targets, 19 catches and 207 yards over his last three games. He has played 79% of the snaps, and the eye issue did not limit him Wednesday. Jacksonville’s 28.5-point team total is tied for the second highest on the slate, and Strange ranks sixth at the position for $600 less than Hockenson.
