DraftKings NBA Pick6 Fantasy Basketball Picks Today: Top Picks for 10/23/26

The second big slate of the season will tip off early today at 4 PM ET between the Bulls and the Bucks. There will be 11 games following, with five of them starting at 7 PM ET and three of them at 10 PM ET.

There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the action this evening in Pick6 Fantasy Basketball! This article will look at my top Pick6 plays for tonight’s slate. We simply choose whether a player will record more or less of the set statistic. Here are my favorite plays for today’s action.

Jalen Johnson More than 38.5 PRA

Johnson’s ability to stuff the stat sheet in multiple categories makes him a natural pick to consider for a PRA (points + rebounds + assists) line. He recorded 13 triple doubles last season, which tied for second with Josh Giddey in the entire league. Nikola Jokic led the pack with more than both of these players combined with 34, but that’s another story.

Johnson recorded 40 PRA against Orlando in the season opener in just 28 minutes while shooting 7-for-19. Charlotte also bore the brunt of his powers last season, as Johnson cleared this PRA in all four contests against them with totals of 47, 63, 48, and 41. Even though they held him to just 19 points in their final matchup, he still added 13 rebounds and nine assists to get over the line.

Jalen Brunson More than 21.5 points

Brunson’s discounted line gives us an appealing target after an inefficient opener during which the Knicks fell to the new-look Sixers. He scored 21 points against Philadelphia despite shooting just 6-for-19, with an 8-for-8 performance at the stripe keeping his scoring afloat. The workload was there as expected, and we’re getting a threshold comfortably below the 26.0 PPG he averaged last season. Brunson also averaged 25.5 PPG across four meetings with Boston, although the Celtics’ offseason changes take away some of our clarity. With 19 shot attempts and eight free throws already in his first game, there’s enough scoring opportunity here to easily back him for at least 22 as The Captain looks to get his ship back on smooth waters.

Tyrese Haliburton More than 9.5 assists

Haliburton wasted little time getting back to work, handing out 12 assists in nearly 34 minutes against New Orleans. That workload was an encouraging sign after he missed all of last season recovering from his Achilles injury, and Dallas presents an opportunity for Indiana to keep pushing the pace.

The Pacers scored 27 fastbreak points in their opener, while the Mavericks allowed 29 and committed 21 turnovers against Houston. Those are only one-game samples, but another careless performance from Dallas would give Haliburton ample chances to find teammates before the defense gets organized. With Dereck Lively II and Santi Aldama unavailable, the Mavericks also have fewer frontcourt options to counter Indiana’s attack. Hali’s chemistry with Ivica Zubac is also encouraging, and having Zubac as a competent roll man just gives Haliburton lob threats in addition to the other dimes he has in his arsenal.

Brandon Miller More than 3.5 three-pointers made

Miller went just 3-for-14 from deep in Charlotte’s opener, but still, 14 shots is 14 shots. Coby White and Kon Knueppel remain sidelined, leaving the Hornets without two perimeter scorers. The Hornets are giving Miller the green light to another heavy shooting workload. He shot 38.3% from three on 8.2 attempts per game last season, so there’s an established shooting foundation behind the volume. To be fair, Atlanta allowed the 12th-lowest opponent three-point percentage last season at 35.5%, which keeps this from being an easy matchup. Still, with Miller logging approximately 36 minutes in the opener, I like his opportunity to get enough shots up to make four from downtown.
