Now they will look to make it three from three, and standing in their way is RB Leipzig.
Leipzig are not off to a great start in either the Bundesliga or UCL so far this season. In the league, they are in seventh place, winning three and losing three of their opening six games. In the Champions League, their record is also .500, winning one and losing one of their first two league phase matches. They suffered a 4-1 defeat away to Como in the opening match before beating PSV 1-0 at home. All three of their league wins came at home, as well as their UCL win. Away from home, they have lost all four matches in both competitions while being outscored 15-3.
Real Madrid will be licking their chops at those statistics. Madrid have been perfect at home, winning all five of their La Liga matches and their sole UCL game at the Bernabéu. In those six combined games they have outscored their opponents by a total of 19-4. This feels like a great matchup for Real Madrid to get the win and score plenty of goals in the process.
