DraftKings King of the Court Best Bets for Wednesday 10/21/26

The NBA is back for the 2026/27 regular season, and with it, so is DraftKings’ King of the Court promotion! As part of the promotion, DraftKings is giving away a souped-up prize of $5 million in bonus bets, to be paid out tomorrow.

Here’s how King of the Court works: if users opt into the contest and use their King of the Court token on a player prop bet or same-player NBA parlay (minimum $5 wager) with -200 or longer odds per leg, that bet will become an eligible entrant to the contest. Any user who used their token on the player who finishes with the most combined points, rebounds, and assists tonight will receive a share of the $5 million prize pool of bonus bets to be paid out the next day, proportional to the number of users who used their token that player. The token must be used prior to the tipoff of the Sacramento Kings-LA Clippers contest at 10:30 p.m. ET.

The bet doesn’t have to hit: for instance, if a user bets on the Los Angeles Lakers’ Luka Dončić to score at least 35 points (+120) and he only scores 34 but ends up leading all players in P/R/A, that user will still be paid out their share of the bonus bets. Regardless, hitting on a bet never hurts.

The three players with the highest P/R/A over-unders are Dončić (48.5), the Miami Heat’s Giannis Antetokounmpo (47.5), and the Atlanta Hawks’ Jalen Johnson (39.5).

Below, I’ve broken down my favorite prop bets for these three players so you know where to start as you bet on the stars.

Luka Dončić 8+ Rebounds (-122)

In his first season as the undisputed face of the Lakers after LeBron James’ offseason departure, Dončić enters the season with high expectations. Although he will be the main ball-handler on offense, Los Angeles is expected to use him primarily to guard wings and forwards on defense and allow wings Matisse Thybulle and Quentin Grimes to defend the lead ball-handler. Dončić recorded eight or more rebounds in 31 of his 64 games last season, has averaged at least eight in six of his eight campaigns, and opened the 2025/26 campaign with at least 11 in each of his first four games. If he spends more time in the paint defensively, his rebounding numbers should only increase in 2026/27.

He has a friendly rebounding matchup against the Golden State Warriors, who ranked just 24th in total rebounding percentage last season and didn’t meaningfully change their roster. With Kristaps Porziņġis (illness) still away from the team, the Warriors’ tallest projected rotation player tonight is rookie small forward Yaxel Lendeborg, who’s six-foot-nine. Lendeborg led the American Conference in rebounds in 2023/24 and 2024/25, but he ranked just second on Michigan’s championship team in rebounds per game (6.8) in 2025/26. Six-foot-six Draymond Green is expected to start at center for Golden State.

Giannis Antetokounmpo 40+ Points + Rebounds (-123)

In his first game in more than seven months, Antetokounmpo will be on a mission to demonstrate that he’s one of the most dominant two-way interior forces in the history of the sport. The Greek Freak had at least 40 P/R just 14 times in 36 games last season, but he frequently played under minutes restrictions, averaging just 28.9 minutes per game (his fewest since his rookie season). For now, Antetokounmpo is healthy with zero restrictions, so I expect his production to look more like it did in 2024/25, when he cleared this threshold 41 times in 67 games while averaging 34.2 minutes per game.

The Minnesota Timberwolves had a strong defensive record last season, allowing the 12th-fewest points and 16th-fewest rebounds per game, but there’s reason to think they could take a step back in 2026/27. Minnesota dealt Naz Reid to the Charlotte Hornets in exchange for LaMelo Ball, and it snagged boards at a rate 1.6 percentage points higher with Reid on the floor last season. It also traded away Julius Randle. Together, the moves put a lot of pressure on Rudy Gobert to anchor the interior defense alone, and as tremendous as Gobert is, he’s a 34-year-old who just posted the third-worst defensive box plus/minus of his career.

Jalen Johnson 2+ Three-Pointers Made (+106)

Johnson isn’t typically known as much of a three-point shooter, but he made some strides in that department last season, canning a career-high 1.7 tries per game while seeing his accuracy rebound from 31.2% in 2024/25 to 35.2%. Additionally, in the 20 games he played after CJ McCollum was elevated to the starting lineup on a full-time basis on February 22, Johnson made at least two threes 12 times, including a run of 10 games in a row in mid-March. Johnson didn’t have a good playoff series against the eventual champion New York Knicks, but he did hit at least two triples in three of those six games.

The Orlando Magic have some solid perimeter defenders, as they limited opponents to the seventh-fewest wide-open three-point attempts per game last season and the fourth-fewest triples per game overall. However, there was some luck involved in that, as the Magic also contested the 11th-fewest threes per game. Jonathan Isaac, who was a fairly impactful defender even in his limited minutes (522 total across the season), is out tonight with a knee injury, which won’t help matters. Plus, Orlando switched coaches from the defensive-oriented Jamahl Mosley to the offense-oriented Sean Sweeney; last season, Sweeney’s San Antonio Spurs allowed among the most wide-open and corner triples.
