DraftKings Fantasy Golf Picks: 2026 Butterfield Bermuda Championship Predictions, Preview

Updated:

By: Alex Hunter

The PGA TOUR heads to Bermuda this week for the Butterfield Bermuda Championship at Port Royal Golf Course (par 71, 6,828 yards, Bermuda greens) in Southampton. This has been the home of the Butterfield Bermuda Championship since it was added to the PGA TOUR schedule in 2019. Adam Schenk (-12) picked up his first PGA TOUR win at this event last season, winning by one stroke. This week’s field consists of 120 golfers and there will be a top-65 and ties cut following the first two rounds.

Below, I’ll dive into three of my favorite DFS options on DraftKings for the Butterfield Bermuda Championship.

Top Golf DFS Picks for the 2026 Butterfield Bermuda Championship

Kevin Roy ($9,700)

Roy has been excellent recently, making eight straight cuts and finishing T-32 or better at seven of these events. Roy is coming off a T-13 finish at the Baycurrent Classic and he ranks fourth in total strokes gained when we compare this field’s last 24 rounds. Roy is the No. 115-ranked player in the world right now, which is the highest he has ranked heading into a start at Port Royal by 24 spots.

Roy has made 2-of-3 cuts at this island course, including a T-8 in 2023. Port Royal was designed by Robert Trent Jones and Roy also finished T-3 at the Jones-designed Dunes Golf and Beach Club for the Myrtle Beach Classic in May.

Roy could contend for his first PGA TOUR win this week and he is a fantastic spend at this $9,700 salary.

Denny McCarthy ($8,700)

After missing back-to-back cuts to begin the fall swing, McCarthy got back on track at the Baycurrent Classic two weeks ago, finishing T-29. Despite that recent skid of missing two straight cuts, McCarthy has made 18-of-25 cuts and he has finished inside the top-30 seven times this season.

McCarthy now heads to Port Royal, where he has been awesome. In four starts at this par 71, McCarthy has finished T-15, T-4, T-39 and T-6. The veteran has shot an 8-under 63 twice at Port Royal and he ranks seventh in this field in strokes gained per round at the par 71.

Having a strong performance with your putter is a must at Port Royal, as four of the last five winners at this track have finished the event top-10 in PPR, and McCarthy fits this mold perfectly, ranking 10th in SGP this season. A third top-10 finish at Port Royal is possible for McCarthy this week and he may get overlooked with some recent missed cuts in his log.

Zecheng Dou ($7,800)

Dou is 2-for-2 in made cuts at Port Royal, including a T-17 in 2022. The 29-year-old has shot under par in 6-of-8 rounds at this seaside venue and Dou travels back to Bermuda playing quality golf.

Dou has made five of his last six cuts with two top-20 finishes over this time. Dou just finished a season-best T-7 at the Biltmore Championship Asheville last month and he has gained at least 3.0 strokes on approach in two straight starts.

If the strong ball-striking continues for Dou at Port Royal, he should card a high finish, possibly inside the top-15.
