8:01 p.m. ET: AEW WrestleDream 2026 is underway at Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida. Follow along for live results, winners, and highlights throughout the card.

The final match from the Tailgate Brawl between the Motor City Machine Guns and FTR is still ongoing.

Motor City Machine Guns defeat FTR at AEW WrestleDream 2026

8:17 p.m. ET: The WrestleDream PPV card opened with FTR vs. the Motor City Machine Guns, which started on the Tailgate Brawl. This was the first match in a best-of-five series between the two teams.

FTR used their physical, hard-hitting style to break down and beat up the Motor City Machine Guns. Both teams have strong cohesion, making them hard to beat. This was an excellent first match of their best-of-five series, adding plenty of intrigue for the matches to come.

Up next: Mercedes Moné vs. Thekla for the AEW Women’s World Championship.

Mercedes Moné defeats Thekla at AEW WrestleDream 2026

8:44 p.m. ET: Mercedes Moné beat Thekla at WrestleDream to successfully defend the AEW Women’s World Championship. This is Moné’s second defense of the AEW Women’s World title since winning it at All In.

From the start of the match, Thekla brought the fight to Moné. Moné returned with her quickness, which gave her the momentum. We saw Moné’s toughness in this contest as Thekla tested her limits throughout. Multiple times during this match, it seemed like Thekla was nearing a victory, but Moné kicked out. In the end, a Moné Maker on Thekla gave Moné the win.

Up next: Jericho vs. Nick Wayne in a singles match.

Nick Wayne defeats Jericho at AEW WrestleDream 2026

9:05 p.m. ET: At tonight’s AEW WrestleDream PPV, Nick Wayne defeated Jericho. Wayne is now 2-1 against Jericho in one-on-one matches. This is Wayne’s first victory on an AEW PPV.

As always, 21-year-old rising star Nick Wayne displayed a tremendous amount of confidence before the match began. It is unbelievable that this match featured a 34-year age difference. Tony Schiavone said on the broadcast that Jericho had 1,887 matches when Wayne was born.

Wayne’s move set is so advanced, and he doesn’t wrestle like someone his age. Wayne’s had a ton of success against Jericho and matched the veteran early on. Jericho had the power advantage, but Wayne didn’t back down. “You still got it” chants rang through the Addition Financial Arena during the match, directed at Jericho. Jericho tested Wayne’s will to stay in the match after having him in the Walls of Jericho. In the end, Wayne rolled up Jericho for the pinfall victory.

Up next: The Young Bucks vs. Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight for the AEW World Tag Team Championship.

The Young Bucks defeat Kyle Fletcher & Kevin Knight at AEW WrestleDream 2026

9:36 p.m. ET: At tonight’s AEW WrestleDream PPV, The Young Bucks beat Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight from The Don Callis Family to retain the AEW World Tag Team Championship. This was their second time defending the tag team titles.

The hatred between these four wrestlers was evident from the start. This was such an entertaining match, with so many reversals, false finishes, and elite athleticism on display. Five matches remain on tonight’s WrestleDream card, and it will be tough to top this one. The Young Bucks, Kevion Knight, and Kyle Fletcher created a masterpiece.

Early on, Fletcher and Knight had the advantage over the Young Bucks. Even though the Bucks have more cohesion, Fletcher and Knight are two of the best wrestlers in AEW today. Nearly 10 minutes into the match, the Young Bucks regained momentum and had the crowd heavily on their side. Each time a team seemed down and out, they kicked out. When The Young Bucks had Knight out, a BTE Trigger still wasn’t enough to pin Fletcher. Late in the match, Fletcher and Knight started arguing, which became the turning point.

Up next: Persephone vs. Dani Luna vs. Hyan vs. Queen Aminata for the TBS Championship.

Persephone defeats Dani Luna, Hyan & Queen Aminata at AEW WrestleDream 2026

9:58 p.m. ET: Persephone retained the TBS Championship against Dani Luna, Hyan, and Queen Aminata at tonight’s AEW WrestleDream PPV. Persephone has held the TBS title since August and has successfully defended it four times.

With four wrestlers in this match, the action quickly shifted outside the ring. Persephone had an impressive showing. Her combination of power and quickness gave her an early advantage. Dani Luna and Hyan also performed well, showcasing their elite potential. All three challengers had moments, but Persephone was the most consistent throughout.

Up next: Andrade El Ídolo vs. Tommaso Ciampa for the AEW National Championship.

Andrade El Ídolo defeats Tommaso Ciampa at AEW WrestleDream 2026

10:25 p.m. ET: At WrestleDream, Andrade El Ídolo Tommaso successfully defended the AEW National Championship against Tommaso Ciampa. Andrade and Ciampa are two of the most well-rounded and complete wrestlers in AEW, and they’ve paired up to put on a tremendous contest.

Ciampa was extremely aggressive against Andrade and inflicted a ton of pain on him. Andrade and Ciampa are so evenly matched that they both struggled to get the best of the other for a long period of time. Andrade hit Ciampa with one of his finishers, Día de los Muertos, but it wasn’t enough to score the pinfall. Over 17 minutes into the match, Andrade and Ciampa exchanged powerful strikes. Ciampa hit Andrade with his signature running knee, but the defending champion kicked out. Eventually, Andrade landed the DM on Ciampa to win the match.

Up next: Swerve Strickland and The New Level vs. Hangman Adam Page and Brodido for the AEW World Trios Championship in a Best Two-Out-of-Three Falls Match.

Hangman Adam Page & Brodido defeat Swerve Strickland & The New Level at AEW WrestleDream 2026

10:55 p.m. ET: At WrestleDream, Hangman Adam Page and Brodido defeated Swerve Strickland and The New Level to win the AEW World Trios Championship. This was the second match between these two teams on consecutive AEW PPVs. This is the second time that Brodido and Hangman Adam Page have won the Trios titles.

As always, Bandido displayed his superhuman strength. Every time Page and Strickland face each other, it is amazing, as they have one of the best rivalries in AEW history. Even though Creed and Kofi are long-time veterans, they look better than they have in years. The New Level had the most chemistry of anyone in this match, which was a difference-maker.

The New Level and Strickland picked up the first fall. When Page and Strickland met each other in the center of the ring, the crowd cheered as they unloaded strikes. Bandido pinned Creed to win the second fall for his team. During the third fall, Brody King made an impact with his power and versatility. What Bandido does in the ring is always mind-blowing.

Up next: Jon Moxley vs. Mark Davis for the AEW Continental Championship.

Ilja Dragunov makes AEW debut at WrestleDream!

11:04 p.m. ET: One of the top free agents in professional wrestling, Ilja Dragunov appeared at WrestleDream, marking his AEW debut. Dragunov has competed in WWE since 2019, where he won the United States Championship, NXT Championship, and the NXT United Kingdom Championship.

Jon Moxley defeats Mark Davis at AEW WrestleDream 2026

11:33 p.m. ET: At WrestleDream, Jon Moxley beat Mark Davis to retain the AEW Continental Championship. This was a hard-hitting war that left Moxley and Davis exhausted and worn out afterward. This is Moxley first singles win on an AEW PPV since All In 2026.

Since Davis was the bigger guy, he asserted his power on Moxley early in this contest. Only five minutes into the match, Moxley was severely bleeding from his face and eye. Even as he continued to bleed more, Moxley brought his intensity to another level, breaking down Davis.

Davis hit Moxley with a piledriver on the apron, leaving the defending champion down outside the ring. When Moxley seemed done, Marina Shafir and Daniel Garcia gave him a pep talk before the crowd got behind him. Moxley hit Davis with the Death Rider, but it wasn’t enough to score the pinfall. Over 20 minutes in, Moxley and Davis were both covered in blood as they traded offense in the center of the ring. After 24 minutes, Moxley beat Davis after securing a rear naked submission.

11:35 p.m. ET: Will Ospreay defends the AEW World Championship against Samoa Joe, “Speedball” Mike Bailey, Adam Copeland, Konosuke Takeshita, Kazuchika Okada, Ricochet, and Darby Allin in a Clockwork Carnage match for the AEW World Championship in the Main Event of WrestleDream.

Below are the rules for the Clockwork Carnage match.

  • Two wrestlers start the match, selected at random.
  • Every three minutes, another randomly selected wrestler enters.
  • Until all eight wrestlers have entered, any wrestler who is pinned or submits is eliminated.
  • Once the final wrestler enters, all remaining wrestlers enter a 15-minute scoring period.
  • During those 15 minutes, every pinfall or submission scores one fall.
  • When time expires, the wrestler with the most falls wins.

Will Ospreay wins the Clockwork Carnage match at AEW WrestleDream 2026

12:16 a.m. ET: In the Main Event at WrestleDream, Will Ospreay outlasted Samoa Joe, “Speedball” Mike Bailey, Adam Copeland, Konosuke Takeshita, Kazuchika Okada, Ricochet, and Darby Allin to retain the AEW World Championship. As expected, this match was pure chaos from the beginning. This was Ospreay’s third successful title defense.

Ospreay started the match against Takeshita, and it was very competitive from the start. Mike Bailey came out third and went after Takeshita right away. Bailey and Ospreay worked together early in the match. Takeshita delivered an impressive double superplex. Ricochet and Darby Allin were the next two wrestlers to enter this match. Allin didn’t take long to land his signature move, the Coffin Drop.

Okada came out and immediately went toe-to-toe with Ospreay. Takeshita pinned Bailey before every member entered the match, eliminating Speedball. Copeland and Joe were the final two wrestlers to enter the match. Okada hit Takeshita with The Rainmaker to eliminate him. Joe came out aggressive and scored the first fall against Allin. Ricochet then pinned Allin to tie Joe. Okada was the third wrestler to pick up a pinfall. Ospreay hit Ricochet with the Styles Clash to get on the board. Allin followed that up with a pin on Ospreay. Then Allin and Ospreay became the first with two falls.

Joe submitted Ospreay with under four minutes remaining to tie Ospreay and Allin at two. Ospreay seemed finished, but he fought back with two minutes left in the match. Then, Copeland picked up two falls in a few seconds. Ospreay landed a Hidden Blade on Copeland to score a pinfall with three seconds left.
