Tonight’s PFL event in Chicago features a high-stakes Featherweight matchup between No. 2 Timur Khizriev and No. 5 Gabriel Braga in the co-main event. This is the rematch between Khizriev and Braga after they first fought in August 2024, when Khizriev won by split decision. The Main Card for tonight’s PFL event begins at 11:00 p.m. ET, airing on ESPN 2.
Check out my best bet for Timur Khizriev vs. Gabriel Braga at tonight’s PFL Chicago event below.
Timur Khizriev to Win by Decision (-150)
In July 2025, Khizriev was shot five times in his hometown of Dagestan, Russia. Khizriev survived the attack and now is set to make his MMA return after a 23-month hiatus. In Khizriev’s last fight in November 2024, he beat Brendan Loughnane by unanimous decision in the 2024 PFL Tournament Championship. Khizriev is 4-0 in the PFL and went 3-0 competing in Bellator from 2022-2023 before that.
Since losing to Khizriev, Braga has gone 3-1 in his four previous PFL contests. Braga’s last win came against Cheyden Leialoha at the PFL’s last event in Chicago. In this fight, Braga is one inch taller (5’9″ vs. 5’8″) and has the edge in standing reach (71″ vs. 68.5″).
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Khizriev is the favorite at -340 and the underdog is +270. The over/under is 2.5 rounds, with the over at -298 and the under at +220. This bout is also -250 to go to decision and +185 not to go the distance.
In their last fight, Khizriev landed 65 total strikes, six more than Braga. In their first fight, Khizriev landed one of two takedown attempts. Although Braga has been more active recently, Khizriev still has the edge. Braga has more power, but Khizriev is the better all-around striker. 14 of Khizriev’s 18 MMA wins have come by decision, including his previous seven victories. That is why I’m taking Khizriev to win by decision at -150.
