Week 5 RB Rankings

Rankings are for full-PPR scoring.

Opp Rank = opponent ranking in DK fantasy points allowed to the position (1st = toughest, 32nd = most generous), blending 2025 full-season data with limited 2026 results.

Projected points blend 2025 per-game DK fantasy averages (35%) with 2026 weekly performance (65%), adjusted for opponent matchup, game environment, snap share and expected game script.

Injuries to Monitor

  • D’Andre Swift † (Hip, knee): Returned to practice on a limited basis Thursday after not practicing Wednesday, per Sean Hammond of the Chicago Tribune. Handled 15 carries in Week 4.
  • Ashton Jeanty † (Ankle, foot): Downgraded to a limited participant Thursday after a full practice Wednesday, with a foot injury added to the ankle issue, per Anthony Galaviz of The Fresno Bee.
  • Jeremiyah Love † (Ankle): Limited participant in practice Wednesday and Thursday. Head coach Mike LaFleur said the injury should not affect Love during Week 5 preparation, per Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com.
  • Alvin Kamara † (Back): Returned as a limited participant Thursday after not participating in Wednesday’s walkthrough. Kendre Miller and CJ Donaldson are the next options with Travis Etienne Jr. on injured reserve.
  • Cam Skattebo † (Shoulder): Limited participant in practice Wednesday and Thursday, per Dan Salomone of the Giants’ official site.
  • Rhamondre Stevenson † (Knee): Limited participant in practice Wednesday and Thursday after head coach Mike Vrabel initially said he was not expected to practice. Vrabel expressed optimism that Stevenson can play Sunday, with TreVeyon Henderson next in line.
  • Tony Pollard † (Foot): Full participant Thursday after not practicing Wednesday, per Jim Wyatt of the Titans’ official site.
  • Kyle Monangai † (Thumb, toe): Did not practice Wednesday or Thursday. Turf toe makes his status uncertain for the next one to two weeks, though he is aiming to play through it, per Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com. Roschon Johnson is the other healthy back behind Swift.
  • Rachaad White † (Shoulder): Limited participant in practice Wednesday and Thursday after missing Week 4.
  • Jacory Croskey-Merritt † (Groin): Limited participant in practice Wednesday and Thursday.
  • George Holani †: Monitor Friday practice reports.
  • Rico Dowdle † (Toe): Limited participant in practice Wednesday and Thursday with a dislocated toe, per Teresa Varley of the Steelers’ official site. Head coach Mike McCarthy said Thursday that his availability remains up in the air after he missed Week 4, per Nick Farabaugh of PennLive.com.
  • Chris Brooks † (Ankle): Did not practice Wednesday or Thursday after undergoing further testing on the ankle Monday. MarShawn Lloyd and Kaleb Johnson would absorb his work if he cannot play.
  • Jaylen Wright †: Monitor Friday practice reports.

DraftKings DFS Value Plays

Chase Brown ($6,900) — Bengals @ Dolphins

Game environment: Bengals -6.5, O/U 42.5 (25.5 team total)

Last week: 19.1 DK points vs. JAX

2025 PPG: 16.5 DK fantasy points (17 games)

Projected DraftKings points: 17.3

Brown is cheaper than all seven backs ranked above him, and the closest of them in salary costs $900 more. Miami has allowed the second-most DK fantasy points to running backs on a blended basis, and Cincinnati owns the second-highest team total on the Sunday main slate. He caught all 11 of his targets in Week 4, and with Ja’Marr Chase in the concussion protocol and Tee Higgins missing practice all week, the short passing game could run through him again. A 6.5-point spread also points to a second-half rushing workload.

Emanuel Wilson ($5,300) — Seahawks vs. 49ers

Game environment: Seahawks -3, O/U 45.5 (23.5 team total)

Last week: 27.0 DK points vs. LAC

2025 PPG: 5.4 DK fantasy points (17 games)

Projected DraftKings points: 16.5

Wilson carried 21 times and caught three passes in Week 4 after Jadarian Price went down, and Seattle will not activate Zach Charbonnet this week. That leaves him atop a thin backfield, with George Holani the only other back holding a defined role. San Francisco has allowed the ninth-most DK fantasy points to the position on a blended basis, and Seattle is a home favorite in a game with a 45.5 total. At $5,300, he is priced well below the lead-back workload he handled last week.

Ollie Gordon II ($5,300) — Dolphins vs. Bengals

Game environment: Dolphins +6.5, O/U 42.5 (17.5 team total)

Last week: 21.0 DK points @ MIN

2025 PPG: 3.2 DK fantasy points (17 games)

Projected DraftKings points: 14.9

Gordon has taken over as Miami’s lead back with De’Von Achane out for the season, posting 14.5 and 21.0 DK points over the last two weeks. He topped 100 rushing yards on nine carries in Week 4, and Jaylen Wright has played only a fraction of the snaps behind him. The game script is the risk, since Miami is a 6.5-point underdog, but Cincinnati sits in the middle of the league against running backs. A $5,300 salary for the clear early-down back on his team leaves room to pay up elsewhere.
