The NHL returns with a nine-game slate on Tuesday night. Below, I’ll break down my favorite two player props to consider on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Best NHL Player Props Today

Darren Raddysh 3+ Shots on Goal (+100)

Getting this line at plus odds for a player like Raddysh, who consistently spams shots on net, is great value for the first prop of the night. Raddysh has cleared this line in 2-of-3 games so far this season, and he ranks second on the Maple Leafs in shots on goal (9), only behind Auston Matthews (10). The 30-year-old defenseman ranked second in shots on goal per 60 and fifth in shot attempts per 60 among defensemen last season, and he has continued the trend of chucking shots from the point, having averaged seven shot attempts per game across the first three games of the new season.

Toronto draws a matchup against Nashville tonight, a club that has allowed the eighth-most shots per game this season and the seventh-most shots per game last season. Additionally, the Predators have allowed 8.5 shots per game to opposing defensemen thus far, and Raddysh leads all Maple Leafs’ players in ice time this season.

Sam Reinhart 1+ Assists (+130)

The Panthers have gotten off to a rough start to the new season after acquiring Brady Tkachuk, but I think the club is in for a bounce-back night against the Kings. Who better to target than the club’s leading point-getter one season ago, Reinhart? Florida has scored just six goals across three games, and like many of its players, Reinhart has yet to notch a point. Darcy Kuemper will likely start between the pipes tonight for Los Angeles, and he allowed a whopping eight goals on 29 shots in his first start of the season against the Edmonton.

The Oilers’ offense is the polar opposite of the Panthers’ offense this season; however, Florida is still loaded with talent, and I’d expect the club to lock in tonight to get secure two points after losing back-to-back games in overtime. Reinhart leads the team and ranks sixth among all forwards in ice time per game this season, and should be Florida’s leading catalyst tonight against a shaky goaltender. The soon-to-be 31-year-old ranked third on the team in assists per 60 last season, and he’ll see plenty of run on Florida’s top line and power play unit.
