49ers vs. Broncos NFL Player Prop Bets for Week 4

Kicking off at 4:25 p.m. ET, the San Francisco 49ers will face the Denver Broncos during the Week 4 NFL slate.

Both of these teams are off to encouraging starts to the season. The 49ers are 3-0 and looking to remain undefeated, while the Broncos have won two of their first three games. This will be an interesting measuring stick matchup between this pair of cross-conference postseason threats.

Looking at the odds, the 49ers enter as three-point favorites and hold -162 odds of winning outright on DraftKings Sportsbook. The Broncos hold +136 odds of pulling off the upset, with the game total set at 48.5 points.

Let’s dive into the top player prop bets for Sunday’s clash between the 49ers and the Broncos.

49ers vs. Broncos NFL Player Prop Bets for Week 4

George Kittle Over 64.5 Receiving Yards (-114)

George Kittle has been a staple in the 49ers’ offensive attack for years and is a driving reason for their strong start to the season. The seven-time Pro Bowler has tallied 12 receptions on 16 targets for 174 yards and three touchdowns. After being limited to just two receptions for 12 yards in Week 1, Kittle has exploded for 82 and 80 yards in the past two weeks. He played just 46.9% of the snaps in the opener, compared to 68.7% across the past two weeks.

Expect this trend to continue against a Broncos defense that has been vulnerable against opposing tight ends. Through its opening three games, Denver is allowing 6.3 receptions and 66.3 receiving yards per game to the tight end position. It allowed 71 receiving yards to Travis Kelce in the opener and 62 yards to Tyler Higbee last week.

Kittle should also see his role in the offense grow as Mike Evans battles a rib injury. The future Hall-of-Fame wide receiver is officially listed as questionable, but he was in visible pain last week and is a key part of the third-down and red-zone offense. If Evans is set to miss or be limited in any way, expect Kittle to be looked at as the primary target on key downs. Count on the 49ers attacking this weak area of the Broncos defense by leaning on the tight end position at a high rate and for Kittle to record over 64.5 receiving yards for the third straight week.

J.K. Dobbins Under 59.5 Rushing Yards (-112)

On the other side of the matchup, there is not a favorable matchup for the Broncos’ rushing attack. Through the opening three weeks, Denver ranks 31st in total rushing yards and 29th in net yards per rush attempt. Only the Green Bay Packers are rushing for fewer yards per game than the Broncos. This is especially concerning as the 49ers have a strong rushing defense that will make an impact in this game. Despite facing Kyren Williams, De’Von Achane and Jeremiyah Love already this season, San Francisco has done a nice job containing the run and ranks third in opponent points per game allowed overall.

J.K. Dobbins headlines the rushing attack for the Broncos. Through the first three games, he has tallied 35 rush attempts for 121 total yards. He has finished with rushing totals of 36, 36 and 49 thus far. Jonah Coleman plays a role in the rushing attack while RJ Harvey is also in the mix. However, the issue has been much more about production than volume for Dobbins. He received 17 carries last week against the Rams, but he turned this into just 49 yards.

Expect the more difficult defensive matchup to only lead to more issues and for this rushing total to be too high. Count on Denver continuing to lean on its passing attack as the identity of its offense and for Dobbins to fail to make a major mark on this game. San Francisco will remain strong on the interior, and the 59.5-yard rushing total is too lofty given the circumstances.
