Below, I break down my favorite player prop bets for this week’s college football game between the USC Trojans and the Washington Huskies.
Here’s how I’ll play it. I’ll be pumping out these predictions for individual games all season, with plenty of coverage here on DraftKings Network. Follow my handle @dansby_edits for more betting plays.

USC vs. Washington player props
Dezmen Roebuck 7+ receptions (-130)
Dezmen Roebuck caught all seven of his targets against Minnesota, producing 87 yards and a touchdown in a game Washington lost. He has now caught 30 passes through four games, an average of 7.5; the latest seven-catch performance fits that steady workload closely.
Washington have thrown on 57.1% of their offensive plays, and USC’s defense has allowed an inviting 6.1 yards per play. I’d expect Demond Williams Jr. to keep working through the passing game, especially if the Trojans establish a lead. Roebuck’s recent seven-target workload makes seven receptions a realistic objective, though he will probably need an extra opportunity or two if he fails to catch every target this time.
USC can still pressure Williams into wasted downs, and Washington are making their first road trip. Those concerns temper the projection. I favor Roebuck over 6.5 because his established receiving role fits the passing volume this game should require, with the wager depending primarily on repeated completions to a receiver Williams already trusts.
King Miller u79.5 total rushing yards (-110)
King Miller ran efficiently against Oregon, finishing with 74 yards on 13 carries. Waymond Jordan added nine attempts for 41 yards, however, and that division of work matters when pricing Miller to exceed 79.5. At the same thirteen-carry workload, he would need more than six yards per attempt.
USC can certainly produce that kind of efficiency. The more difficult assumption is that Miller receives both the carries and the clean running lanes, particularly when Jordan remains involved. I expect the Trojans to keep dividing opportunities, with Jordan receiving enough work to limit Miller’s carry ceiling.
A comfortable USC lead is the obvious risk to an under. Additional fourth-quarter rushing possessions could take Miller past the number even if his average falls from last week. Washington’s passing offense should offer enough resistance to preserve a competitive game, and I prefer Miller under 79.5 or higher on that forecast. Miller ran well against Oregon. Even then, with Jordan taking nine carries of his own, Miller finished below this threshold.
