A familiar face is returning to Studio 8H this weekend.

Actress Dakota Johnson will host Saturday Night Live on October 3, with musical guest Turnstile.

The 50 Shades of Grey star, 36, is headlining the sketch comedy show for a third time following the premiere of her latest film, Verity.

Johnson first hosted in February 2015 and returned in January 2024. She also appeared in the Saturday Night Live 40th Anniversary Special in 2015 and made a cameo in December 2025.

Turnstile is making its SNL debut, becoming the first hardcore band to perform on the show since Fear in 1981. They’ll hit the stage fresh off winning Best Rock Album (NEVER ENOUGH) and Best Metal Performance (“BIRDS”) at the 2026 Grammy Awards.

Johnson stars alongside Anne Hathaway and Josh Hartnett in the psychological romantic thriller Verity, which landed in theaters on October 2. Based on the bestselling novel by Colleen Hoover, the story follows a struggling writer hired to finish a successful book series after the original author is left incapacitated by a severe car accident.
