The WNBA Playoffs continue tonight with a pair of first round games. The Mystics will host the Dream at 7 PM EST to stave off elimination, while the Valkyries visit the Wings at 9 PM to try to close out.
There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the action this evening. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Basketball!
This article will look at my top Pick6 plays for tonight’s slate. We simply choose whether a player will record more or less of the set statistic. Here are my favorite plays for tonight’s action.
Rhyne Howard More Than 18.5 Points
Howard has consistently found a way to score against Washington, clearing this line in all four meetings this season. She posted 19, 24, and 19 points in the regular-season series before leading Atlanta with 26 in Game 1, when she played 39 minutes in the 92-77 win. The encouraging part is that Howard did it despite shooting just 2-for-7 from three, instead creating offense by getting to the line and converting all 10 of her free throws.
Atlanta went 30-14, closed the regular season on a five-game winning streak, and now has a chance to finish the series in Game 2. With playoff minutes pushing Howard’s workload beyond her 34.2 regular season MPG, it’s looking good for Howard to put in the work on offense again tonight.
Jessica Shepard Less Than 10.5 Points
Golden State has been the clear exception to Shepard’s breakout season. She averaged 14.5 PPG, 11.1 RPG, and 5.3 APG overall, but scored just 14, six, and four points in three regular-season meetings with the Valkyries before going scoreless on 0-for-7 shooting in Game 1.
Golden State finished 32-12 behind the WNBA’s top-ranked defense, allowing only 75.1 points per game, and it has now beaten Dallas in all four meetings this season. Dallas scored 80, 76, 70, and 80 points in those games, never cracking the 81-point mark against this defense. Shepard should remain heavily involved with the Wings facing elimination, but Golden State has repeatedly been able to shut her down, and it should continue to make life difficult for Shepard tonight.
Angel Reese More Than 12.5 Rebounds
Reese missed this line by just one rebound in Game 1, but the larger matchup sample still points upward. She grabbed 17, 13, and 16 rebounds against Washington during the regular season, averaging 15.3 per game and clearing today’s number in all three meetings. Reese was especially disruptive on the offensive glass, collecting 20 offensive rebounds across those games, and she still finished with 12 boards in only 30 minutes Sunday while battling five fouls. The league’s leading rebounder averaged 12.1 RPG this season.
If Reese can stay out of foul trouble, she should be able to attack the glass against Washington like she’s been doing all season long.

Once you finalize your Pick Set, choose your entry fee amount. Your entries will be automatically distributed into available contests, subject to your confirmation.

When the games go live, use the My Picks tab to follow your picks in real time to track how your players are performing against their projections and how they stack up against other users.
Compete for Prizes
