Last Seen Episode 5, “The Prophet,” premieres Wednesday, September 30th, on Apple TV. After Ian’s confrontation with Henry and Jenna, the series finally, mercifully turns to their past and the circumstances behind Maggie’s disappearance.

n “The Truth,” Ian accompanied detectives to Henry and Jenna’s home, certain they would recognize Sarah as his missing daughter. Henry’s paperwork satisfied the investigators, however, and Ian struggled to persuade them to keep looking. Jenna later visited Debbie at the flower shop, where she hinted that Henry had tried to fix something from their past. She left without explaining what he had done.
Ian eventually returned to the house with Bill and played a lullaby from an old baby toy. Sarah approached as she heard the music, and Jenna finally admitted that Sarah wasn’t their child. Henry reached for his shotgun and shot Bill; Jenna also suffered a gunshot wound during the confrontation. Henry then drove away with Jenna and Sarah, leaving Ian behind again.
