What happened to Jalen Hurts? Live injury updates for Eagles vs. Bears on Monday 9/28/26

UPDATE: Hurts was evaluated for a concussion but was cleared to return.

With 8:37 left in the second quarter of Monday’s game against the Chicago Bears, Jalen Hurts was replaced by Andy Dalton. After Hurts scrambled to the right sideline for two yards, he was hit hard right as he stepped out of bounds. He briefly was on the ground but eventually got up and made his way back to the huddle. The Eagles, though, took him out of the game and made him go to the medical tent.

After exiting the tent, Hurts was on the sideline and dismayed about leaving the game, especially since Dalton threw an interception. Hurts is now on the sideline drinking water, so he looks fine, but we will update his status on the Eagles next offensive possession.

Prior to exiting, Hurts went 5-of-7 for 46 yards.
