D’Andre Swift Rushing Yards Pick for Bears vs. Eagles

Closing down the Week 3 NFL slate, D’Andre Swift and the Chicago Bears will host the Philadelphia Eagles in a Monday night matchup. More pressure is put on D’Andre Swift and the running game tonight as Caleb Williams will remain sidelined due to the hamstring injury he suffered last week.

Looking at the odds for the Week 3 Monday Night Football matchup, the Eagles enter as 3.5-point road favorites with -192 Moneyline odds on DraftKings Sportsbook. The Bears are +160 to pull off the upset, with the game total set at O/U 41.5 points.

There are plenty of ways to get involved in the action across DraftKings Sportsbook. You can check out game previews and plenty more on DraftKings Network. But for now, let’s look at my top D’Andre Swift prop bet for the Week 3 Monday Night Football matchup.

D’Andre Swift Rushing Yards Pick vs. Eagles

De’Andre Swift Over 60.5 Rushing Yards (-114)

Caleb Williams may be the headline name in the Bears’ offensive attack, but Chicago leans on its rushing attack at a high rate with or without him on the field. D’Andre Swift and Kyle Monangai each play significant roles, and both will see opportunities tonight. But it is Swift that is responsible for leading the rushing production, as he looks to add to his 169 rushing yards and 233 scrimmage yards so far this season. There is also some added intensity as Swift attempts to get some revenge on the franchise he suited up for before joining the Bears.

Swift got his first attempt at revenge last year and made the most of it. During the Bears’ Week 13 matchup with the Eagles last season, the Georgia product gashed Philadelphia for 125 rushing yards and a touchdown. This was a clear focal point of the Bears’ attack, as they rushed for 281 total yards in the game.

This year’s iteration of rushing defense looks even more concerning from the Eagles’ perspective. Through the first two weeks, Philadelphia ranks 25th in total rushing yards allowed, 17th in rushing touchdowns conceded and 17th in net yards per rush attempt. In the season opener, the Washington Commanders recorded 132 total rushing yards against the Eagles, with Jacory Croskey-Merritt headlining the production with 63 yards on the ground. More recently, the Tennessee Titans recorded 122 total rushing yards against the Eagles, with Tony Pollard posting a team-leading 64 yards on the ground.

Chicago possesses a more dynamic offense and rushing attack than either opponent the Eagles have faced thus far, and Swift is at the epicenter of it. Especially with Williams sidelined, expect a clear effort to establish a reliable running game. Swift tallied 124 rushing yards in the season opener against the Panthers and recorded 99 scrimmage yards last week, even if he was limited to just 45 yards on the ground. He had major success against this Eagles defensive front last year, and expect him to put forth a similar effort with more opportunity to do so. Count on the 60.5-yard rushing total to be too low based on the context of this matchup, and for the Eagles to allow the opposing team’s top running back to surpass this for the third straight week.
