NFL DFS Value Picks: Best Cheap DraftKings Plays for Sunday in Week 3
QB Bryce Young, Panthers at Browns, $5,600
After dropping 35.4 FPTS in Week 1, Young had another sterling performance in Week 2, registering three passing touchdowns and 24.1 FPTS against the Falcons. It’s probably a little too early to say anything definitive about the former No. 1 overall pick, but it does appear that Young is on his way to a true statistical breakout campaign in 2026, following his mini breakout last season. Heck, just look at the company he’s currently keeping. Young enters Week 3 averaging 0.71 FPTS per drop back, which trails only Josh Allen ($8,000) and Brock Purdy ($6,500) among qualified quarterbacks. Being tied for the most touchdown passes in the league will do that (6), while sitting with the third-highest aDOT also doesn’t hurt one’s fantasy upside (10.5). To top it all off, Jalen Coker ($5,500) was back at practice on Friday and he’s expected to play on Sunday. Young should have all his weapons available.
RB Quinshon Judkins, Browns vs. Panthers, $5,500
The level of interest in Judkins will be fascinating. The sophomore from Ohio State is producing a paltry 0.54 FPTS per touch through two weeks, which puts him in the 11th percentile of the 52 RBs who have played at least 25% of their team’s snaps. What does that look like at a surface level? It means 2.3 yards per rushing attempt with a game-high of 33 yards. Not ideal. However, there are some real positives as we head towards Week 3. First and foremost, Judkins role appears to be quite secure. The 22-year-old has been on the field for 66.1% of the Browns’ offensive snaps in 2026, while he’s also been the only Cleveland running back to see a carry inside the red zone. Then there’s the matchup. You can not overstate how poor the Panthers’ run defense has been across the first two weeks of the season. Carolina is conceding 224.0 opponent rushing yards per contest — that’s almost 50 yards per game more than the team sitting in 31st. If not now for Judkins, when?
WR Quentin Johnston, Chargers at Bills, $4,900
Look, Johnston’s had a lot of negative publicity this week, and a not-so ringing endorsement from his quarterback. With that said, the former first-round pick isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. It’s not like the Chargers are blessed with wide receiver depth and can have Johnston take on a lesser role. Also, the law of averages suggests that even the drop-prone Johnston is bound to have his 27.3% catch rate normalize at some point. Opportunity isn’t an issue. Johnston actually leads all Los Angeles skill position players in targets through two weeks (11). It’s now a matter of translating those chances into tangible results. Week 3 provides a great matchup for a turn-around, too. The Bills only partake in barnburners, as the team’s offense is virtually unstoppable. That means a pass-heavy script for opponents, which has equated to Buffalo giving up the third-most FPTS to WRs in 2026.
