Jared Goff ($6,300) — Lions vs. Jets

The Lions should control tempo at home against a Jets defense that allowed the 31st most DK fantasy points to quarterbacks in 2025. Detroit owns a 27.5 implied team total and a 6.5-point spread, setting up four or more scoring drives in a game the Lions are expected to lead throughout. Goff posted 32.8 points at Buffalo in a tougher Week 2 matchup, proving his ceiling translates to high-level competition. At $6,300, he sits $1,700 below Allen while operating in one of the most favorable game environments on the slate. The Detroit passing game enters Week 3 fully healthy, giving Goff a clean path to a third consecutive productive outing.
Sam Darnold ($5,400) — Seahawks @ Commanders

Darnold is expected to start in Week 3, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, after returning to full participation in Thursday’s practice. He missed the first two games with a glute injury and carries some health risk in his first action of the season. That said, the matchup is among the best on the slate: Washington ranks 30th in DK fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks, and Seattle’s 7.5-point spread projects the Seahawks to control tempo throughout. Darnold averaged 16.8 DK PPG across 17 starts in 2025 and brings a higher passing ceiling than Drew Lock, who started the first two games. At $5,400, the price is low enough to absorb the rust concern, but monitor his status through Sunday morning before locking him in.
Tyler Shough ($5,400) — Saints vs. Raiders

Shough has averaged 25.8 DK points through two starts, making his $5,400 salary one of the largest gaps between production and price on the slate. The Saints host the Raiders in a game with a 43.5 Total and a 23.5 implied team total for New Orleans. Shough posted 14.9 DK PPG in 11 starts last season, but his 2026 output has far exceeded that baseline through the first two weeks. At this price, he needs only 15 points to return value, and both his game environment and volume trend suggest that mark is well within reach. The home setting adds another layer of comfort for a quarterback who produced 29.2 points in Week 1 and followed it with 22.4 in a tough road matchup at Baltimore.
