AEW All Out 2026 takes place Saturday, September 26, from NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Just four weeks after Wembley Stadium hosted All In, AEW is heading back to Chicago for another loaded pay-per-view, led by Will Ospreay making his first AEW World Championship defense against Jon Moxley.

There is a three-way ladder match for the AEW World Tag Team Championship, a Chicago Street Fight for the Women’s World Tag Team Championship, Kazuchika Okada vs. Tommaso Ciampa and several matches that could shape the road to WrestleDream. Will Ospreay vs. Jon Moxley Prediction: AEW World Championship Match

This is only the second one-on-one match between Ospreay and Moxley, but there is a lot more history here than that makes it seem. Moxley defeated Ospreay at Dynasty 2026 to retain the Continental Championship, ending a match that was personal for Ospreay after the Death Riders had put him out of action at Forbidden Door 2025. Ospreay had returned from neck surgery at Revolution looking for revenge, but Moxley survived him at Dynasty and handed him another huge singles loss.

That loss became the beginning of one of the more interesting parts of Ospreay’s year. Moxley saw a talented wrestler who was still trying to prove he was fully back after the injury and offered to train him. Ospreay eventually aligned himself with the Death Riders, even after everything they had done to him. He won the Owen Hart Cup while associated with Moxley’s group, but the relationship always felt like it had an expiration date.

Ospreay finally broke away at Redemption when he refused to follow the Death Riders’ way against Kenny Omega. Instead, he turned on Moxley, and that set him on the path toward All In. Ospreay then defeated Omega at Wembley Stadium to win his first AEW World Championship.

This is officially Ospreay’s first title defense. He has mostly been in tag action since winning the championship, with a World Title Eliminator win over David Finlay his only singles match since All In. Moxley is one of two men to beat Ospreay in singles action this year, along with Mark Davis via referee’s decision on April 22. He knows exactly how to attack Ospreay’s neck and he has watched this entire championship journey from closer than anyone.

Prediction: Will Ospreay retains the AEW World Championship.

Adam Copeland & Christian Cage vs. FTR vs. The Young Bucks Prediction: AEW World Tag Team Championship Ladder Match

This feels like the match I am most excited for on the entire card. It is the 19th ladder match in AEW history and the first since Kyle Fletcher vs. Mark Briscoe at Grand Slam earlier this year. You have three of the best tag teams AEW can possibly put into a match like this, and all three have a real case to walk out with the championships.

The Young Bucks have the experience advantage. This will be their fifth AEW ladder match, while FTR are competing in their third. It is the first ladder match in AEW for Cope and Christian as a team, though Christian has been in three before on his own. The Bucks are built for this kind of chaos. Nobody is better at taking a ridiculous bump, finding a creative way to use a ladder and somehow making the last few minutes feel even bigger than they already do.

There is so much history packed into this match too. FTR and the Young Bucks have had one of the best rivalries in AEW history, and Cage and Cope getting this championship run together has been something fans have wanted to see for a long time. The Bucks beat Cage and Cope at All In but came up short in their attempt to regain the titles. I think that changes here.

Give me The Young Bucks. They are the team I trust most in a ladder match, and a fourth AEW World Tag Team Championship reign puts them right back in the middle of the division. Plus, they can win the belts without Cage and Cope having to take a pinfall loss, which leaves plenty on the table for all three teams coming out of All Out.

The Brawling Birds vs. Divine Dominion Prediction: AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship Chicago Street Fight

The Brawling Birds have not lost a traditional two-on-two tag match since Alex Windsor and Jamie Hayter started teaming together. They are 9-0 in those matches, which makes them feel like a real team and not just two singles wrestlers who happened to get paired together for a title run.

Divine Dominion have not wrestled since losing the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship to Windsor and Hayter at All In, so this is their immediate chance to get the belts back. A Chicago Street Fight is a great way to make the rematch feel different. With these four together, I expect this to be an extremely entertaining match.

Still, I am sticking with the Brawling Birds. I hope this is the start of AEW moving Bayne back toward singles competition because she has everything to become a massive star on her own. She can take a loss here without losing any of that momentum, especially if the split from Lena Kross becomes the next part of her story.

Swerve Strickland & The New Level vs. Hangman Page & Brodido Prediction: AEW World Trios Championship Match

Maybe it is just me, but Hangman Page is never the first name I think of when it comes to the AEW World Trios Championship, even though he has held the titles twice already and is going for a third reign here. Putting him with Brodido gives this match a huge amount of star power, and it would be easy to buy them winning on any other card.

The Trios Championship has been passed around all year. Eight different teams have held the titles in 2026, and Swerve Strickland and The New Level will have had them for just under a month when All Out arrives. I do not think AEW needs another quick title switch here. This trio is still fresh, and there is much more to get out of Swerve and The New Level as champions.

The one thing in the back of my mind is The Young Bucks. If they win the AEW World Tag Team Championship earlier in the night, it feels like it could speed up the inevitable collision with The New Level. That actually gives AEW a possible reason to move the Trios titles here and free up Swerve’s group for that next program. I still think they hold onto them for now, but it is definitely the strongest case for a title change.

Prediction: Swerve Strickland and The New Level retain the AEW World Trios Championship.

Kazuchika Okada vs. Tommaso Ciampa Prediction: AEW International Championship Match

Okada is in his second run with the AEW International Championship after previously holding the title for 316 days, so it is hard to see him dropping it this quickly. Ciampa is a great challenger because he always feels dangerous, and he has been built back up fast after his most recent loss to Chris Jericho in a No Holds Barred match at AEW Revolution.

But Ciampa has also fallen short when the biggest opportunities have been in front of him. His TNT Championship reign lasted only 11 days, and he lost his shot at the AEW World Championship during Darby Allin’s fantastic title run. None of that means Ciampa is not a top guy. It just feels like AEW keeps getting him close without fully pulling the trigger.

I am fine with Ciampa losing this one if the plan is to keep building him back up quickly. Okada should have a strong defense here, and Ciampa can look like he belongs in the match without taking the title. Eventually, though, AEW has to stop teasing it and give Ciampa the big win that turns him into a real centerpiece.

Prediction: Kazuchika Okada retains the AEW International Championship.

Andrade El Idolo vs. PAC Prediction: AEW National Championship Match

Andrade El Idolo has been busy all month as AEW National Champion. He has already defended the title three times in September, picking up wins over Gabe Kidd, The Beast Mortos and Daniel Garcia. That is exactly what this championship needs right now: a champion who is around, defending it often and making every challenger feel like a real matchup.

PAC is always a threat, but we simply do not get to see him in singles matches often enough. This will be only his 10th singles match, which makes this feel like a big opportunity for him even if he has not been positioned as the obvious next champion. Andrade and PAC should have a great match.

I am biased here because I would love to see PAC get another singles title reign. We have not seen him hold a singles championship since 2022, when he was the inaugural All-Atlantic Champion for more than 100 days. He is more than capable of making the National Championship feel important, and I would not complain at all if AEW decided this was his moment.

I am sticking with Andrade. He has too much momentum right now, and losing the title after a month full of successful defenses would feel abrupt. Give PAC a strong performance, keep Andrade rolling, and let the National Championship continue to build around a champion who is actually putting it on the line.

Willow Nightingale vs. Thekla Prediction: AEW Women’s World Championship No. 1 Contender Match

I feel like the story between Mercedes Moné and Willow Nightingale has run its course for now. They had their big match at All In, and Willow coming right back for another shot at WrestleDream would feel a little repetitive. AEW needs a fresh program around the Women’s World Championship, and Thekla is the perfect person to give it one.

Thekla being left off the All In card was understandable after her recent title loss, but it still felt like a miss. She is too interesting of a character and too important to the women’s division to sit out one of AEW’s biggest shows. Winning here is a great way to make up for that and immediately put her right back into a major spot.

I am also really looking forward to Thekla and Mercedes finally mixing it up. They have only shared the ring twice in multi-women matches and have never faced each other one-on-one. That is a fresh match, a fresh story and exactly what the title picture needs heading into WrestleDream.

Prediction: Thekla earns an AEW Women’s World Championship match at WrestleDream.

Darby Allin & Steven Borden vs. Kyle Fletcher & Kevin Knight Prediction: AEW World Tag Team Championship No. 1 Contender Match

This match may not be getting a ton of buzz, but it is a sleeper on this card for me. Darby Allin and Steven Borden have been a fun pairing, and this is by far Borden’s biggest spot in AEW to date. Pairing Sting’s son with Darby makes all the sense in the world, and a win here would put them right into the tag team title picture.

Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight are the wild card. Don Callis put them together, but Fletcher initially made it very clear that he did not see them as a tag team. They have started to click anyway, including a win over The Young Bucks in a tables match, and Callis even pushed for them to be added to the AEW World Tag Team Championship ladder match at All Out. Stokely Hathaway’s answer was basically that they could discuss it after FTR win the titles, which is exactly the kind of disrespect that could keep Fletcher and Knight motivated here.

I still like Darby and Borden. Fletcher and Knight losing does not slow down the Callis Family story at all, especially because there is obvious tension in the group and the two are still figuring out whether they are actually a team. Darby and Borden getting the win gives the tag division a fresh challenger, and it would be a huge statement for Borden this early into his AEW run.

Prediction: Darby Allin and Steven Borden become the No. 1 contenders for the AEW World Tag Team Championship.
