In the third inning of Wednesday’s game against the Cleveland Guardians, Red Sox center fielder Ceddanne Rafaela was replaced by Jarren Duran. Rafaela injured his leg while running to first base after singling to left field.
Rafaela had just returned after missing two weeks due to a quad strain.
Prior to exiting, Contreras went 1-for-1.
Since Rafaela left before his second at-bat, he is eligible for DraftKings Early Exit.
