Callum Connor Moneyline (-108)
Guaylupo is an impressive knockout artist, with an 11-0 record and 10 knockouts at 21 years old. This is Guaylupo’s 12th professional MMA fight since he made his debut in July 2023. Guaylupo won his MMA debut by decision, but his last 10 bouts have ended in knockouts.
Connor is also off to a tremendous start in his MMA career, going 8-0 with six finishes. He last beat Iwanderson da Silva Caldas in April by second-round knockout. Connor has the physical advantages in this fight: he is four inches taller (6’0″ vs. 5’8″) and has a five-inch edge in standing reach (73″ vs. 68″).
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Guaylupo is a slight favorite at -112, while Connor is -108. The over/under is 1.5 rounds, with the over at -230 and the under at +175. This fight is +140 to go the distance and -185 not to last the scheduled 15 minutes.
Due to Connor’s massive height and reach advantage, it should give him the edge in this contest. Connor must be aware of Guaylupo’s power, but if he can disrupt his rhythm early, success is likely the longer the fight lasts. I’m backing Connor in this contest at -108 as he should be able to control the distance while displaying his elite striking ability.
