A 15-game MLB slate is on tap for Tuesday. For those looking to cash in quickly on a bet, nothing makes more sense than an NRFI. With that being said, there’s more to this one than meets the eye. Some pitchers thrive early, while others take more time to get settled in than others. Which NRFI picks are worth a closer look on Tuesday?
Ahead of today’s Major League Baseball contests, here are two NRFI bets worth placing on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Best NRFI Prop Bets Today
| Game | Pitching Matchup |
| Rays vs. Yankees NRFI – Game 2 (-170) | Rasmussen vs. Fried |
| Mets vs. Rangers NRFI (-120) | Manaea vs. Gore |
Rays vs. Yankees NRFI – Game 2 (-170)
These two AL East foes will meet up for a two-game set on Tuesday. While each matchup during this week’s series features a solid pitcher, tonight’s probables are worth a closer look. For Tampa Bay, it’ll be Drew Rasmussen getting the nod this evening on the road. Over 165.1 innings pitched (29 starts), he’s delivered a 2.72 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 163 strikeouts (8.9 K/9). The two-time All-Star has allowed a total of just five earned runs over his previous five appearances (1.45 ERA). Now, he faces a Yankees lineup that hasn’t performed particularly well in the first inning. New York’s 28.39% YRFI rate is tenth-lowest in the majors. Rasmussen owns a stellar 1.87 ERA over ten career outings vs. the Pinstripes.
On the other side, it’ll be Max Fried making his 20th start of the season. When healthy, the southpaw remains one of baseball’s most effective starting pitchers. Through 106.0 innings of work, he’s accounted for a 2.63 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 100 strikeouts (8.5 K/9). Although the veteran has been on a pitch limit over the past few months, he’s been terrific during that time as well. Fried hasn’t given up more than one earned run in each of his last seven contests. He enters Tuesay riding a five-game NRFI streak as well. In comparison, this is a spot Tampa Bay’s bats could struggle in. The Rays own a .688 OPS on the road against left-handed pitching, eighth-lowest in baseball.
Mets vs. Rangers NRFI (-120)
Sean Manaea isn’t anyone’s idea of an ace. New York’s high priced pitcher has been a disappointment throughout 2026 (4.74 ERA). With that being said, the wheels tend to fall off during the middle innings. At the start of games, he’s usually kept runs at a premium. The right-hander has allowed a first inning run only twice over his previous ten matchups. There’s a decent chance that success continues against a bipolar Texas lineup. The Rangers have a .660 OPS at home against right-handed pitching, third-worst in the big leagues this season.
Speaking of the home team, MacKenzie Gore gets the nod for Texas this evening. It’s been an up and down campaign for the former All-Star. Through 165.2 innings pitched (32 starts), he’s on the hook for a 4.67 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 172 strikeouts (9.3 K/9). However, the southpaw has been far better at home (3.53 ERA) than on the road (5.79 ERA). He comes into today’s game with a decent 71.9% NRFI rate as well. As for the Mets, they’ve had difficulty with similar pitchers. New York’s .682 OPS against lefties places them at 25th in the majors this season.
