We got robbed of an incredible matchup, folks. With crucial WNBA seeding on the line, we are scheduled to get a showdown between the Minnesota Lynx and the Indiana Fever tonight. Unfortunately, we don’t get to see the Olivia Miles vs. Caitlin Clark subplot; Miles has been ruled out with a calf strain.
According to Lynx head coach Cheryl Reeve, Miles seemed to be a true game-time decision based on her pregame warmup. Ultimately, the Lynx decided against letting her play, but it’s a good sign for her prognosis with the playoffs right around the corner.
Hopefully we’ll see the soon-to-be Rookie of the Year for her regular season finale as she puts the finishing touches on a historical campaign.
