This will be AEW’s final stop before All Out on Saturday, September 26, with four matches now announced for Wednesday’s show. Swerve Strickland & The New Level will defend the AEW World Trios Championship against The Demand, with the winner advancing to All Out to defend the titles against Hangman Adam Page & Brodido.

Here’s a look at the confirmed match card for Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite. We’ll update the card as additional matches and segments are announced.

Swerve Strickland & The New Level (c) vs. The Demand – AEW World Trios Championship

There’s more than just the AEW World Trios Championship on the line in this match. Hangman Adam Page & Brodido defeated The Conglomeration last week to earn a title shot at All Out, but we still don’t know which team they’ll actually face. The winner of Swerve Strickland & The New Level vs. The Demand will leave Dynamite with the titles and defend them against Hangman, Bandido & Brody King at All Out on Saturday.

Swerve & The New Level have been dominant since winning the titles at All In. This will be their third defense of the AEW World Trios Championship, having already defeated The Rascalz and The Conglomeration. The Demand made their intentions clear last week, attacking the champions and posing with the titles after Hangman & Brodido earned their All Out opportunity.

I don’t think the titles change hands here. AEW has invested a lot into Swerve & The New Level since putting them together, and I think there’s much more to come from this championship run. There’s also plenty of history between Swerve and Hangman, which immediately adds another layer to a potential All Out match between the two trios.

Will Ospreay & Speedball Mike Bailey vs. Claudio Castagnoli & Gabe Kidd – Tag Team Match

This will be the first time either of these teams has competed together in a traditional tag team match in AEW, but there’s already plenty of history connecting everyone involved. Bailey has spent the past couple of weeks dealing with the Death Riders, first losing a highly competitive AEW Continental Championship Eliminator Match against Jon Moxley before bouncing back with a victory over Wheeler Yuta on Collision.

For Ospreay, this is his final match before defending the AEW World Championship against Moxley at All Out on Saturday. Gabe Kidd has also been heavily involved in Ospreay’s issues with the Death Riders, so putting these four together feels like one final opportunity for that rivalry to boil over before the PPV.

I’m siding with Ospreay & Bailey here. Ospreay is only days away from his first AEW World Championship defense, and Bailey has been gaining momentum of his own. Claudio & Kidd should make this a very physical match, but I expect Ospreay & Bailey to come out on top heading into All Out.

Persephone (c) vs. Hyan – TBS Championship Match

It’s hard to view Hyan as a legitimate threat to dethrone Persephone here. Hyan has yet to win a singles match in AEW, although she’s only had four with the company. Her most recent singles match came at AEW Brawl in the Ballpark, where she lost to Julia Hart.

These two also recently shared the ring at Rebel Heart Dynamite, when Hyan teamed with Maya World & Thunder Rosa against Persephone, Britt Baker & Hikaru Shida. Hyan’s team came up short that night, and now she’ll get an opportunity to challenge Persephone directly with the TBS Championship on the line.

I don’t see a title change happening here. Hyan should get an opportunity to show what she can do in a championship match, but Persephone has been positioned on a much different level. This should be another successful title defense for the TBS Champion.

Jon Moxley vs. Dezmond Xavier – AEW Continental Championship Eliminator Match

There’s not much mystery surrounding my prediction for this one. Dezmond Xavier has a massive opportunity, as a victory over Moxley would earn him a future shot at the AEW Continental Championship. However, I simply don’t see Moxley taking a loss here. Xavier should get an opportunity to show what he can do in singles action, but this feels like another successful Eliminator Match for the Continental Champion.
