Tonight in Los Angeles, California, the top MMA promotion hosts UFC 331! A UFC Flyweight Championship fight between current Champion Joshua Van and former titleholder Alexandre Pantoja headlines this event. This is the UFC’s first card at the Crypto.com Arena since UFC 227 in August 2018.

Van and Pantoja first faced each other at UFC 323 in December 2025, where Van won the title after Pantoja got injured 26 seconds into the contest. Since then, Van successfully defended the title at UFC 328 in May against Tatsuro Taira. Before his last contest, Pantoja was on a dominant stretch, winning eight straight bouts with five in title fights.

Two elite Lightweight contenders, Arman Tsarukyan and Mauricio Ruffy, face off in the UFC 331 co-main event. This bout will be five rounds instead of the standard three for non-title fights. Tsarukyan is on a five-fight winning streak and is 10-1 in his previous 11 bouts. Ruffy is 9-1 in his last 10 fights with eight knockouts in that span.
